What happened to Aimee Thompson

Does anyone keep in contact with Aimee Thompson? I think that is her name. She had twin boys about the age of my girls or a little bit older. One wore a helmet for a while for plagiocephaly. She is an awesome photographer. I can't remember what her user name was, but lily something rings a bell. I was just realizing that I haven't seen her post since forever and she used to be really active in the TS forums. Just curious if anyone knows how she and her boys are doing.

 

I think you may have the names mixed up. Aimee Thompson is a Mod her username is now AimeeT. She has identical girls.

 

Yep. You're right. I think her name was Aimee though. Can't remember her last name apparently. I just remembered one of her boys was named Joel.

 

I know who you are talking about, I remember her. I don't know what happened to her though.

Yes. That's her. Sorry I confused everyone by putting your name in the subject. I remember her name was Aimee spelled the same way and I attached the wrong last name to it. I do know who you are. :give_rose:

I think I remembered now that her last name is Benson.

 

Isn't funny how some members just stay in your mind. Before we knew we were having twins and I posted frequently on www.ovusoft.com. We had an IUI/IVF group that followed each other through our pregnancies since we all had our procedures in the same month. When my twins were about six months old and I was posting more here everyone on that board disappeared. I often wonder about them especially Jean Marie because we posted a lot.

Beth I know you were on ovusoft too and reading your posts gave my husband I the courage to give IVF a try. Thankfully we did because we got two beautiful kids out of it. I also remember Alexa Fae (?) too. It is wild how we lost touch with so many women we were close with on the other site, but found support on TS.

Sorry if that went way off topic. Your post just got me thinking.

 

Awww. That's nice to hear I inspired you to try IVF. I'm so happy it worked for you and you have your beautiful family now. I sort of remember Jean Marie too. I wonder where she is now too.

 

I often wonder what happened to Alexa too. She was a member of IVF connections with me and we went through it at the same time and both had b/g. I haven't "talked" to her in well over a year.

 

Alexa is still here. Her user name is AlexaFaeh (I think). She isn't here as much as she used to be, but she's around.

I often think about some of the people I met on Ovusoft, but I really don't miss their forums. Too much drama! Things are much calmer and more helpful on TS, I think.

I actually started on the Fertility Friend forums, but I actually got kicked off of their site for mentioning Ovusoft. Crazy. Sort of funny now. I'm not the type of person who ever gets "kicked out" of anything.

 

what? they kicked you out? probably cause you were "successful" and have kids now....well, they should understand we were all in the same boat at some point, and we never forget what we've been through. I've been kicked out of bars, in my old days !

 

I was over at the ILovePhotography forum just now and noticed a siggy that said she was Aimee chasing twins with a Canon around her neck. I checked the username, and sure enough.

I'm from Ovusoft as well and have gone back quite a few times to see what people are up to. I don't miss the forums either... much different atmosphere then here on TS BUT OS did help me get through some tough times.
