What does you To Do list look like for the day?

My inlaws are coming for a visit this afternoon. Found out last night, yikes! Food is half way prepared. Worked on that last night. We are eating Mexican style in celebration of Cinco de Mayo. Chicken enchiladas, refried beans and sweet corn cake!

Here is what I need to get done in time for them to get here:

    Vacuum all floors
dry mop all floors for dog hair
straighten kitchen and wipe down counters
    wipe down bathroom
    work on laundry
    mop bathroom floor

I think that will keep me busy enough during this afternoons nap time!

I have to clean my floors, and that is about all today! A very light day for me! I'm actually bored, and trying to think of something to do. This never happens.

My busy errand running day was yesterday. Today, I am meeting a friend for lunch and then just doing some minimal cleaning around the house. Yesterday, I bought the material for the quilts I am making the twins. I have to get going on that ASAP, otherwise they will be here before I know it - and we all know, I won't have ANY time after they are here! ;0

Wow! You have time to do all of that? Good for you. I'll be happy if I can get the dishes/laundry done every day. Today I'm bringing Abby to the doctor, since she threw up all over me this morning. Fun!

I’m working from home halftime and taking care of the boys, so I basically get to my computer every moment they are sleeping. The cleaning is very minimal – I’ll tidy up each room just so things are presentable. And I always have to have a clean kitchen – nothing in the sink, bottles washed, etc. I get help in the afternoon so that I can pick up DS from school, run to the bank, grocery store, etc. and then do the homework, figure out dinner and so on. Work some more. Always. *sigh*

We’re also having the in-laws over for a Cinco de Mayo dinner tonight (but there will no mopping or vacuuming happening at my house!) :)

Ha! If it wasn't for DH, the dishes and laundry wouldn't get done and we mostly eat take-put! My to-do list for the day was two phone calls - one to my vet to make an appt and one to my health insurance company - and try to get my babies nursing again. Got them all done and feel pretty proud of myself! :D
