Since my girls are chubbies, we have had to switch from the infant seat to a "big girl" car seat. But they loved their toys on the infant car seat and now I feel sorry for them b/c they just look at the back of the seat & stare, like their best friend died. Is there something I can get that they can play w/ but can't throw?

    TIA!

That would be great except it says that it isn't available in the US?

Oops...didn't notice that part. I know I have seen some in Walmart or ToysRUs similar to it. We just used the linkadoos and attached toys to the sides of their car seats. Didn't work too well, though.

    Hi Brandy,

We received a couple of Sesame Street mats that were meant to be attached to the seat back - they had mirrors, etc. The one positive about having them turned around in big seats is that they can play and things don't hit the floor as easily when dropped....do you use those links? That should also help.

Our boys liked to play with big, soft stuff (they have a firetruck and ambulance that make sounds - they STILL like to clutch them on occasion)

GL! It can be a challenge to develop new routines, but you will love these next months [IMG]

HMMMMM when I went to post a response in PC, this topic went away...I had to track it down [IMG]

If you click on purchase and type in a zip code, it will tell you where to buy it in the US. I typed in my zip and it said that TOYS R US has it, but when I went to TRU website all I found was this one. Similar but not the exact same. And this one is musical...taht can be good and bad!!

We have both babies rear facing in convertible seats. On the seat that they are facing they each have a toy attached, made for that purpose.
We switch every so often so they don't ge too bored.
One of them I got at BRU. It's a Baby Einstein remote activated lights and sound toy with mirror. It has songs and lights and I have the remote up front to start, stop it, or lower volume. It was @ $30.

The other is a mirror with a water scene where the baby can kick two spots and the water moves.

We have two of those Fisher Price Auto Mirrors, they place music and have lights that go off on them and are controlled by a remote that I keep in the front. They like to look at themselves in the mirror and I can see them too. Seems to work for them, cauz that's all we do while we are in the car.

Thanks everybody. does the remotes really work. I was reading some reviews and most said that the remote didn't work...

Yep, it works, one click for on, one click for off. So if you miss it the firs time, you need to click twice the next time. Kinda silly but it still works and they are under $20.
