What do your potty trained kids wear to bed?

I bought a bunch of footed fleece zip up pajamas (on clearance) for next winter and am wondering if they can wear these if potty trained? Do your twins wear one or two piece PJs in the summer/winter if/when they are potty training?

    Thanks!

My son wears the zip up fleece jammies during the winter. He doesn't typically get up at night to go to the bathroom so it really hasn't been a problem.

I have one that is night trained and will wake up in the middle of night once in awhile to use the potty. I don't think the zip ups would work for him. Michael who trained early is not night trained and will sleep through anything.

My guys are both trained, and they normally don't get up during the night, after they are asleep. They will normally go to the bathroom once after going to bed, but before they and I go to sleep. The mostly have tops/bottom pj's, but do have a couple of zip-ups. Mine are guys, so they can handle potty time without taking their arms out of the zip ups.

Hope that helps. When they first were trained, I would have to help them get their arms back in, as they always ended up turning them inside out when they took off the pj's.

    Good luck!

2 piece jammies unless Kayla wears a nightgown.

Sarah wears the zip-up footed jammies. She generally doesn't need to get up. But if she does, we told her to "tell the monitor to wake up mommy" and she'll wake me up to come help her.

The zip up pj's should be ok, even if you are potty training. My girls still need help if they go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, with both zip up and two piece pajamas. They one downfall of the zip up pj's is if they get wet, you have to change their pajamas completely rather than just a pair of pants. My girls tend to have a hard time getting back to sleep if they are up too long, so I like to change them quickly.

Where did you get the pajams? I'm looking for next year, too!

We use both...the girls don't seem to mind with the zipper. They still need help occasionally with going potty anyway.

From the time she was daytime trained until age three she was in a pull-up at night, so it really didn't matter what kind of pjs... now that she is trained at night we get her up right before we go to bed and put her on the potty... she doesn't get up on her own, but has no accidents... we've put her in a zip-up pj before..it's a little harder to take off for the potty break, but worth it if it's cold...most of the time she prefers just a single layer of top and bottom separate pjs...she's a warm kid...

Jon wears them sometimes. He tends to sleepwalk to the bathroom during the night and on those nights it is a problem. On other nights, he will wake up to go. I don't take the chance if I can help it, and put him in 2 piece ones. Although if he is awake, he has no problem dealing with it.
