what do your babies share?

after spending 5 weeks in the NICU and having to wash hands in between babies i am wondering how many of you are really particular about what the babies share. im not too picky as long as neither seem sick lol. if there isnt a paci within reach, i grab whatever is there, doesnt matter who's it is. and if 1 baby doesnt finish their bottle and the other does and still wants more, they get whatever is left. lol i KNOW some may be yelling at me in their heads right now. i do wash their paci's every day when i wash bottles, and they each have their own suction thing, but thats about it! anybody else want to confess?

 

Um my babies share everything, including a spoon when I feed them baby food. They share bottles, pacis, spoons, clothes...you name it, they share it. Mine even share the nasal aspirator - everything!

 

Pretty much everything!

 

Everything. I figure they'll share their germs anyway, regardless of whether I try to keep things separate. Lose the guilt about it, I say...

 

My babies spent 10 weeks in the NICU and they both share EVERYTHING and always have and we have had no problems...

 

I can't think of anything they don't share.

 

Yep, they share everything too! Except their blankies. That's the one thing I want them to know it's their own. However if my two year puts the babies pacis in his mouth, I don't let the babies have it back.

Pretty much the same here too.

 

We share everything here too. Now that they are a little older, they have an assigned sippy cup, but not for fear of germ sharing.

EVERYTHING here too! I figure they shared a womb-they sure can share a spoon, bowl of food, etc... When they both got thrush is when we color coded things-Nicholas was green, Anthony was blue. So for bottle nipples and pacifiers they are color coded. But-if I happen to grab the wrong one for whatever reason-no big deal.

 

I always figure that I wouldn't be washing my boobs between feedings.... I do try to keep things separate, but I can't for the life of me remember who has which color pacifier at the moment, etc. So, we do share.

She basically said "They share my boob ~ so why not everything else" (not exact quote..sorry Cohlee )

That basically sums it up here. They started off sharing everything and have continued...with no end in sight

Same here - they share boobies all day long, so what's the big deal if they share everything else, too?
