what do you use to go for walks?

I started to get out for walks (live in FL)... but the double stroller seems to bumpy..even on the nice side walks the lines on the pavement are rough...
they get too hot on their car seats so I can't use the snap and go...
do I have to spend the money on a jogging stroller?..and there are so many out there with such a huge prize difference... I'm afraid
that the cheaper ones (under 200) would just feel the same as the regular stroller

 

I have a snap and go and a maclaren SBS. I just got a Schwinn double jogger and love it so far. We've taken a few walks and gone to the zoo and it's very easy to manuever. Plus I got it for just over $200 from Amazon.

 

I have a shwinn double jogger and I love it! :good: I got it for $75 at a clearance store and it's awesome.

 

I would check out the consignment stores near you and craiglist, you can find a great jogging stroller that way. I have the BOB and love it.

We have a 2002 BOB Duallie and love it. Have used it with all our kids. That's 6 years of use. . . we paid $350 for it. $350 divided by 6 = about $59 per year. We even use it on wooded trails. I'm also enjoying our Valco Twin Trimode with toddler seat option (for the youngest 3).

If you walk for fitness seriously or go on lots of long strolls, a pricier stroller may be worth it. . . many of these strollers will be used even when your kids are 4 to 5 years old because they can take the weight! For example, our BOB holds 50 lbs. per each seat. Just a consideration.

 

We have the double BOB too--it is the best! See if you can find a used one...they're really durable and should last a long time. If you decide to bite the bullet and buy a new one, you can take advantage when REI offers their 20% off coupon and buy it then, that's what we did. The BOB has been worth every penny and the weight limit is pretty high so I know we'll use it for a long time
