My boys are getting too big for the baby tub we are currently using. I keep hearing about bath rings but I can't seem to find any online. I've also heard of bath seats with suction cups that attach to the side of the tub. Anyone use those? If you use them... what brand are they, where did you buy them? If not, then what do you use?

I used the baby bath until they were sitting well(around 8 months) and then used the sink for a bit, and now the big tub with no rings.

I use a bath ring that suctions to the bottom of the tub. I had a hard time finding it altho my sister found it here at Canadian Superstore. The brand is Jolly Jumper Bath Ring and has a foam circle that they sit on and it has worked out great for the big time. They were just getting to big and splashing water everywhere in the small tub so we moved onto using this.

We have one Safety First bath ring that attaches to the side of the tub and one Fisher Price bath ring that suctions to the bottom of the tub. We really like the Fisher Price one. Wish we had two of those, but we bought it second-hand and can't find others anywhere.

We used the Safety First infant-to-toddler tub, but they outgrew it recently, and we just switched to the big-boy tub.

I did see those ring things at BRU last time I was there, though.

We used the baby tub until almost 10 months! They were really overflowing out of it by then. But it was nice to have that until they could sit really, really well on their own. After that we just switched to the big tub, with nothing in it.

I bought those suction cup bath rings but never used them -- by the time we got rid of the baby tub, they would never have put up with the rings -- they needed more freedom of movement. Anyway, the rings don't actually keep them from crawling (or walking) around if they are really determined to -- they're more for babies who can't sit up steadily enough in the water. So for your kids' age, they might be more useful. But you still have to be within arms' reach at all times.

Mine way outgrew the infant tub before they were sitting really well unsupported so I bought a "transitional" tub from One Step Ahead. It's an inflatable tub you put in the tub. It works great and they can both fit together--which was important to me since I DH travels for work.
