My boys both have had reflux since they were a couple weeks old than they started getting colds every month and now it's like every couple weeks. Since they turned about 6 months they've had horrible eczema. Do you think this could be all related to allergies?? I'm so upset that they keep getting sick :( Do they ever do allergy testing on babies?

a friend and I were just talking about this...she told me that her pedi said seasonal allergies dont occur in infants until 9-10 months or so. I would give your pedi a call or take them in and see what they say.

The eczema can be triggered by a food. Did you start the introduction to solids yet?

That's heartbreaking to hear about your babies and their reoccuring issues :( What has your pedi suggested?

My older DS had eczema when he was a baby and his ped said that was a connection/link between eczema, allergies, and asthma. I would think it would definitely be possible that your babies are having some type of reaction to something. I hope they feel better soon.

He said that 13 colds in the first year of life is considered normal. I haven't talked to him yet about the eczema and the fact they are on their way to passing the 13 colds in a year :( I have an appointment booked for next week.

Yes, that is when the problem with eczema came about, but the colds and reflux was happening way earlier.

I'm not thinking it's a seasonal thing. It seems to be, if anything, food related.
