Excuse the cereal faces... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v629/PJspics/IMG_1507.jpg Big smiles... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v629/PJspics/IMG_1470.jpg I am not too good at this, but they look identical to me.
I'm not good at this either ~ I don't have to worry about identical, since I have boy/girl twins. My vote would be for identical ~ such cute smiles!! April
I can see why you think they aren't and why other people think they are! I've realized that now I am a mom of twins I can see subtle differences now in babies. LOL! I guess I would have to say Identical though because they look a lot more alike than mine do and mine are fraternal. The older mine get, the more they really don't look alike at all!!
They sure are cute...whatever they are-I would say identical, but what do I know...I have b/g twins that dont even look related!
My vote is identical.. Have them tested! I speak from experience- it's the question they will get for the rest of their lives- my twin and I didn't know we were identical until we were 33 -not knowing all those years was so annoying! We look alike, but there were enough differences for us to wonder. They'll thank you for it!! Your boys are so cute, too- such great smiles!!
I'd say ID ... my girls are ID but most people can tell them apart by the shapes of their heads. They have subtle differences! I don't think they look that much alike at all ... but I am Mommy Here's our blog if you wanna see them http://meredith-hannah.blogspot.com
ID - its seems like whenever there is a question as to whether or not they are ID and fraternal, they always turn out being ID! With my boys, there is no question, they look like brothers but certainly not twins.
Wha?? I am so shocked people think they are ID. I thought 90% would say fraternal. Guess it's true that Mommy always sees all the differences. Maybe I should post some different pics because I still think they look SO different..haha. Jenn, thanks for the heads up on getting them tested being worth it. I am in Canada..not even sure where to get them tested. I guess I could start with their blood types but the poor little dudes would have to get poked then wouldn't they. Traci, yes your girls do have different shaped heads. They are very cute! You had them tested I assume?
Yup, they definitely look ID to me. My girls are ID (shared placenta) and have slight differences (which seem really obvious to DH and me). I just posted some pics in a separate thread if you want to take a look (swing pics)
I vote ID. It's almost like there's an "if you have to ask" rule about this. I've only seen one person's tests come back frats. Mine are frats, no need to test at all. You can tell this from my avatar.

Find out from your pediatrician if they know what their blood types are- they may have found out at birth but not necessarily passed it onto you... if it's different than you have your answer..otherwise, try Proactive genetics. This is the service we used (twice now- my twin has twin girls and they had 2 placentas and the same blood type- they're id, too!) You can order the test online, I don't think there are any international restrictions! Good luck and definitely keep us posted!! I'd be really surprised if they're fraternal!
