I saw this on Amazon, It's pretty cool! And something great for boys and girls, for sure! I love that it is made of wood and not tippy like the plastic ones I have seen. I wish i could find something like this in Canada - or someone who will ship it here! It's abouy 50lbs, so that could be pricey!
I just thought I would share!

Em, I just ordered one from Target. They have FREE shipping on kids stuff right now!!

I'm glad to see that you are still in the hunt for a kitchen!!! They didn't have THAT kitchen, but a lot of others = could be worth checking it out!!

Check out Scholar's Choice. They have this brand, though the on-line store says they are out of stock of that kitchen. Maybe they can get it for you, or it might be available in store. (search kitchen)

Here is one that shows both a boy and a girl playing with the kitchen: Master mind toys - Mellissa and Doug kitchen

This company is in Toronto.

Good Luck. We have one of the plastic Step Two Kitchens and both my son and daughter (3 and 6) love to play with it.

I like it! I had to store the twins kitchen away. They were flipping it over and turning it into a slide  So got the slide from my moms and thought it'd suffice...NOT! Maybe I can drag it out later and they will play with it.

I love it but since it's two sided it would take up a lot of space.

I saw a great Melissa&Doug wooden kitchen at a local toy store this past weekend, that if I had it all to do over again I'd get. We have a Little Tikes one (which they love but the wooden ones are just better).

I have looked at the Doug and Melissa one and the problem with them is the horrible reviews on them I have seen everywhere! They are poorly made, often missing pieces, poor quality and customer service was bad for people who had issues.
I love all the companies that offer free shipping online - but it sucks that I live 2 hours away from the US where the free shipping is available! So, unless there's anyone in Buffalo or Amherst or Cheektowaga who could have it delivered to their place for me....:)

I have seen it on E-bay and some people say they will ship it to Canada....they have one on right now for like $36.00!!!!! But it still has 4 days and the bidding is hot. Someone is bidding like 4 or 5 times in a row...dumb.
I thought it might be a bit big, but I will do some measuring and see. I love the storage and counter space and the fact that it's wood. And it has no stickers to peel off! It would last longer, I think...

Is it well made and duarable? We have one in our play fort that was there when we moved and it's made out of...like bristol borard or whatever you call it - almost like cardboard! I find that things with stickers get trashed pretty quick. This double sided Grill one seems to be a new, but soon to be discontinued product, not sure why, and so far there is only one review on it.
I just found someone who could ship it FedEx to me for $44...not bad, seeing as one quote was nearly $200 just for shipping!! NUTS!

It looks really neat, but it's not actually just wood. It's MDF which I think is a composite type of wood, glue and shavings type thing. Close to wood tho, I know my parents use it a lot in their woodshop in place of raw wood since it's a little cheaper and a bit heavier, will hold up better.

I could be wrong, but I think that's what MDF is. May not make a difference to you, and you may already know that! Just thought I'd stick that in.
