Well, two of my friends just had their babies-both had girls and both didn't find out what they were having. One I guessed right that she was having a girl. The other one I thought boy and was surprised to find out today it was a girl! So-I thought I would start a poll of what I might be having... I'll give some background info from the boys pregnancy and this pregnancy... Boys: Burping NO nausea NO m/s NO smell aversions NO cravings NO b/p issues NO nesting NO gestational diabetes NO ANYTHING. Seriously. H/B's were always in the 150's. Well-heartburn-towards the end with them-but nothing too horrible This pregnancy: Burping Nausea weeks 8-10(I lost 5 lbs) Heartburn almost constantly-as in every day. I woke up one morning BEFORE I found out I was pregnant with HORRIFIC heartburn. Should have known then! I don't leave home without the tums(at least when I remember to). H/B in the 150's...twice in the 160's Everything else is exactly the same as with the boys. Only difference is amount of heartburn and the nausea in the beginning. That's it! So-what do you think?
I voted girl - there seems to be a lot of girls this year - and since your friends both had girls and didn't find out, maybe you are too!!
I voted girl too From the old wives tail the heartbeat rate is pointing girl! With my SIL that has 4 kids she only had morning sickness when she was pregnant with girls. Best Wishes
i am also voting GIRL seems everyone i know right now is having a girl myself and my sister included. either way congrats!!!
Definitely girl...I was reading about morning sickness the other day...they say, whoever they are, ha, that you are 50% more likely to be having a girl if you have morning sickness. My mom has 3 girls and was sick with all 3. I was sick with the twins, too. I'm only about 5 or 6 weeks, best guess, now, so I don't know what to expect. I didn't start getting morning sickness with the girls until I was 8 weeks. I'll send you pink dust if you will send me blue.
I am having a girl and had terrible morning sickness this time around. I have always had heartburn with all my kids. Are you having trouble coming up with a name for either sex? I seem to have trouble coming up with a name for the sex I'm not having. I'm going to say GIRL!!!
i will say i had mild morning sickness with the twins (boy girl) non this time around and i am having a girl so just something to think about.
QUOTE(hot2trottt4u @ May 6 2009, 12:49 PM) i will say i had mild morning sickness with the twins (boy girl) non this time around and i am having a girl so just something to think about. With the boys-I had NO ounce of any type of nausea or morning sickness-EVER. This pregnancy-I had two weeks of nausea-I could barely eat anything. I remember-because I was in Vegas surrounded by amazing food and couldn't eat it. I would eat fruit loops and salad. That was it-oh...and a milkshake! LOL! I would try to order things, but I just couldn't eat them. I gained five pounds very quickly in the beginning, and quickly lost it once the nausea set in... If I mention I had nausea to anyone-they say girl. We will see! As for names-we have a girl name picked out-Annabella. It's been our name for YEARS. I also like Addison as well-little Addie. And for boys-we already have Nicholas and Anthony-our top boy names. We can't really decide on another boy name. He likes Michael-and I do too. However-his uncle and cousin are both Michael's( and yes-there are other Anthony's in the family...but we don't see them as often). I don't know. I also like Matthew, Timothy, and Zachary. DH wants a name that will go well with Nicholas and Anthony, and I have to say, Michael does. I just haven't told him yet!
with my boys I was sick as a dog with the girls - not at all!! I voted girljust because of the difference in your nausea!
