For the most part I stopped carrying a specific bag for them and I just shove what I need in my purse. But I was wondering if you have kids over 3, do you have a diaper/toddler bag? If so, what do you keep in it?

I have a bag (not a diaper bag) that I use on the weekends that is just big enough for their sippies, snacks and a few toys. Like their travel magna doodles, a couple of books and maybe a couple of hot wheels. The magna doodles are great when we go out to eat. Mine are not potty trained yet, so I need a few diapers and wipes too. When my oldest was potty trained, I still carried a small backpack and would pack a juice box and some snacks in it when we went out.

I carry a diaper bag, and put everything in one. All of Katies baby stuff of course, and for the boys I pack sippy cups, snacks and 2 pull ups a piece.

I carry one bag for all 3 kids. I usually have a couple of diapers for each kid. A package of wipes. Anitbacterial Gel from Bath & Body Works. Bags of snacks. Sippy Cups for all 3 kids. A container of diced fruit for Liam. My pocketbook. A couple of small toys if we will be out for a while.

I have a backpack that I've always used as a diaper bag. If we're going to be out for awhile I normally pack along some snacks, one change of clothes and a pair of underwear apiece (we're potty training and still have accidents), some pullups that have been in the bag for awhile, wipes, and a couple of sippy cups. If it's a short outing I'll stick a pullup or two in my coat pocket and leave the backpack at home.

The only permanent things I keep in the bag for them (I just use a backpack that also has my stuff) are a small pack of wet wipes and a travel size first-aid kit.
If we are out on a hot day/going to be out for a long time/doing something that uses lots of energy I will bring them a drink. If we are going to be out for a couple of hours I will bring along a snack.
When they were potty training I obviously had to bring all the stuff relevant to that; travel potty, spare clothes, extra wipes, plastic bags and pull ups . Happily we are now past that phase!

I think I really only still carry an actual diaper bag b/c I have Elizabeth too. For the twins the only things I carry in the diaper bag are a few pullups/clean underwear, some wipes, a folding potty seat, purell and some bibs.

I have toddler size backpacks. They each carry their own. They have a couple of diapers and wipes. Natalie has her inhaler and glasses case in her bag. They are also responsible for keeping their cups with them when we leave the house. Both backpacks are small enough to fit in the stroller basket.
I keep a small bag of toys in the van for longer rides. I also keep a spare change of clothes, extra diapers and wipes in the van for them at all times. Since we all had the stomach flu recently, I also keep a sheet and a towel in the van for emergency clean ups. All of our spare items go under the back seat or front passenger seat.

Since Brody goes to pre-K, I have a backpack that has an extra change of clothes, and diapers/pull ons in it. Otherwise, we have a box of wipes and diapers strewn about the van

If we're going somewhere longer than the trip out, we pack a cooler with snacks and possibly water/milk cups. Usually that's a trip to the science center or zoo or something where we'll be our through a lunch and we won't have to buy anything

I don't carry one. I keep purell and wipes in my purse. In the car, I always keep an extra change of clothes, a travel potty, and some bottles of water. I will throw some snacks in the car if needed as well. Before they were potty trained, I kept diapers in there as well with a changing pad and would just run out to the car if I needed anything.

I don't carry one for short trips. If we are going to be gone all day, I throw a change of clothes for each in a bag, with a few little snacks. I keep wipes in the car.

I only carry my bag now. I will throw in a snack for them and they carry thier own drink. I even stopped sippy cups, they drink out of a bottled water when we go out. I dont bring a change of clothes either. oh, I do have wipes in a pocket in my bag and I keep them in the car too. I also keep the traveling potty in the car. I have to say, I love not worrying if I have everything. I also keep whatever "car toys"(doodle) in the car. They know they dont come in the house. This way we know they are not lost and they always have something in the car.

Yep, I still do. In fact I just bought a new one that isn't so much a "diaper bag" it's more of a very large purse! Meaning that it just doesn't look like a diaper bag :) My boys are potty trained. So I carry two extra pairs of underware, one extra outfit, baby wipes (for hands or tables or whatever), hand sanitizer, tylenol for the boys, excedrin for me, kleenex (constant colds right now), a small snack for them, color crayons and that's about it. If we are going to OT, out for a bit, or somehwere we will be for a while I bring some coloring books, sticker books, reading books, ect. I don't think I can be without it! I do have extra clothes in the van, but if we need them for a potty accident or messy food, we need them then, not when I can get out in the 20 below weather (I live in MN) to get them.

My twins are two and if we're just going to dinner or for a short outing I just tuck two diapers in my purse and bring along the wipes and cups. I haven't used my diaper bag in months - I will carry along a tote if it's a long outing (a spare outfit, snacks, wipes, diapers) - but I usually leave it in my vehicle and just get it when I need it.
