I am at a loss of what to feed my LO for lunch. They love meat sticks and I use to make them grilled cheese but DS has started to refuse to eat it. nThey both love hot dogs but I am sure it is not good to give them hot dogs to often and I hate to give them meat sticks every day. I have tried a low sodium broiled deli ham and they won't eat it. What do you all feed them for lunch and if you have any great diner ideas I'd love to hear them too.
    Thanks

We do alot of veggies, green beans, peas, carrots, broccoli, fruits. French fries, but my girls love those salisbury steak dinners with the mashed taters, and corn. They'd eat those everyday if I'd let them.

Try some variations of what you are already doing. For example, cheese quesadillas - which can even hide veggies. ;)
Mine loved cheese or meat raviolis at this stage. Boil a few minutes, then cut in 1/4. They also loved broiled fish fillets. We found a toaster oven was perfect for making toddler-sized portions.

    - veggie burgers or veggie chicken burgers, cut up
    - sweet potato french fries (you can buy them frozen in a bag, or I also make them in the oven from raw sweet potatoes)
    - peas, broccoli, or carrots steamed (I put a little butter, salt & pepper on too)
    - leftover stir-fry or curry from night before
    - baked beans (mess warning!)
    - avocado chunks
    - scrambled eggs
    - squash (I just put little "squash balls" on their tray that they can easily pick up)
    - beans & rice (brown rice, black or kidney beans, and some taco seasoning)
    - applesauce or yogurt -- they are learning how to spoon it in themselves
    - raisins
    - vegetarian sushi (seriously, they love it)

Depending on the mood that they are in they will usually eat:
    Fish sticks
    Chicken nuggets
    Grilled Cheese
Hotdogs (cut into very small chunks)
    Peanut butter & jelly sandwhichs
    veggies (peas,green beans,etc.)
sugar free fruit cups (peaches, mixed fruit, applesauce)
    goldfish crackers
    graham crackers
    mashpotatoes
    baked sweetpotatoe
    meatballs (cut up real small)
mac & cheese(depending if they are in the mood for pasta..sometimes they just spit it out!)

    Good Luck!

your kids may be ready for the Gerber toddler meals. they are great! my kids lived on those for about 6 months or so. also pastina was a huge hit since it is so tiny. i used to mix it with either sauce and parm cheese or a little butter and parm cheese and sometimes i would even make my own mac n cheese and just cook the pasta and then melt velveeta slices into it and add parm cheese (can you tell parm cheese was a big hit? ). of course this is not a finger food. that you would have to feed to them but you could always make it with slightly bigger pasta and let them do it themselves.
