What do you do when your twins get up after 1 hour of nap and there is still an hour or more untill next bottle.Mine are almost 5 months old and I sometimes just not ready to go back to sleep in the later pm nap. Yes, I would have them to go from swing to bouncer to playmat to crib to kill the time, but at thie age they can only be entertained for so long. Anyone was or is in the same boat, through some ideas.
Are you looking for suggestions for how to entertain them or how to get them to nap longer? I can tell you some of the things we do if you're looking for more ideas. Mine are just fitting into their exersaucer so I let them have 5 minutes or so in that - they love the little toys on it, but I don't want to leave them in there too long. We do lots of tummy time games (pm me if you want me to elaborate...I've got a bunch of silly games and songs - my mom is visiting right now and she jokes that I'm running a preschool). I give them time together without me to kick around on the activity mat, too...they like the time to talk to eachother I think I've started putting them in high chairs whenever I eat so they can practice (we'll start solids in a moth or so) and so far they like sitting with me in the dining room watching me eat or playing with toys. I switch rooms a lot, too...change of scenery. I have one room where we are most of the time, but I'll just lay out a blanket in another room and they love trying to roll and squirm to look around the new room. I'm not sure if that was what you were asking...
For me, I would just feed them so that they are content and then find things to do like the swing, playmat, and take a walk.

Mine were the same at that age and it´s inevitable that they will start napping less. I used to let them play for a little bit in their cots. If they complained, then I´d take them to the lounge to play. Both babies used to cope quite well but would be pretty tired by the time their feed came round. Sometimes I brought the feed forward by 10 mins or so. If they werent hungry, I´d wait. Now, at 6.5 months, they´re up almost 2 hours before feeding time but they cope well. I find they get tired out quicker if I play with them. If I leave them to play independently then they last a bit longer.
What I did was just continue my routine. Feed them when they were due, put them down when they were due (90 minutes after waking up at that age, I think) etc. I found that they start sleeping less eventually and sticking to a 'feed them when they wake up' routine was just making things more stressful for me.
I'm breastfeeding, and I feed them before nap and lots of times when they wake up. In between naps, I just take time holding them/interacting, letting them do tummy time or play in the exersaucer/on floor, or sometimes when I have a chore pressing me, I sit them in the exersaucer or bouncy and let them watch me do the chore for a bit. I figure it's a good thing for them to entertain themselves sometimes.
I have to echo what previous posters said, when ours would do that we'd do tummy time, play in the exersaucer/jumparoo, I would read to them, put them in their bumbo seats facing each other with some toys around them to encourage interaction with each other. Naps are hard at this age since they start to be awake more. Good luck!
