Both of my guys have been seriously crying ALL day long today. Nothing makes them happy. I think they may be getting more teeth but nothing is working. Not Tylenol, not teething gel or Hyland's tablets. They won't nap, they won't eat and I'm going insane. Have you had these days and what do you do? I've been up sine 5:15am and I am exhausted Oh and it's way too hot to go outside for a walk.
You can check with your Ped but after 6 months we got the go ahead to give Infant Motrin for teething. It lasts longer than the Tylenol and that might help them at night to sleep. :hug99: How about a bath? They might enjoy playing in the water with some toys since its too hot to go outside.
Ditto Rachel's Motrin and bath suggestions. Do you have a place inside where you could blow bubbles? We would all go to the bathtub sometimes and do that when things got really fussy. :hug99: I hope the fussiness ends soon for you. Those days are rough. :hug99:
I came back with another idea - walk around an inside mall? Or any store, like Wal-Mart or Target? Maybe they just would like to get out of the house?
Do they like Baby Einstein? That and puffs always works for my two. (Who are watching Baby Einstein and eating puffs now. They woke up seriously fussy from their afternoon nap!) What about a car ride?

Unfortunetly, for the bath and swimming idea that would work really well except Jack has really bad eczema as well right n ow (as if everything else weren't enough) and the Dr said to keep him as dry as possible and not to out sunscreen on him so I can't take him in the sun. UGH! I'm thinking tomorrow the mall or Target may be a good idea. I'll ask about Motrin as well, maybe I need to start puffs too!!!!!!
I have no advice, sorry. Just know that you aren't alone I am having one of those days too. I put my girls to bed almost an hour early! I dont see any new teeth working their way through but I never do until they are there. ardon: Good luck!! Hopefully they sleep well tonight!
