What do i get Victoria and Athena for Christmas, they have so many toys and rattles, are to young for dolls and frankly wouldnt even know what the day is all about. Then do i buy them the same stuff because they are always wanting to play with the same stuff at the same time...... which results in tears if there is not two of the item. But their personalities are so different. :icon_eek: Athena will touch and feel and play with the toy whilst Victoria would in all probability play inside the box it came in.... LOL she is a real tom-boy.

What are you getting your kids for Christmas???

LOL about playing in the box! Too funny! For our twins' first Christmas they were six months old and we got them their convertable car seats. They also got stockings with sippy cups, new spoons, gerber puffs, new socks, etc. Get them something they need since they won't know the difference anyway! We did the stockings so that our oldest two wouldn't question why Santa didn't bring the babies anything!

We aren't getting the girls much for christmas because I'm sure our family will go overboard and they already have so much. They are recently getting into playing with stuffed animals, so I may get them their first (cloth) dollies. I haven't found them yet though. I got the four of us stockings that I had embroidered with our names and I'm going to put an ornament in each for the girls (I love the idea of getting them one ornament each year so they have it when they grow up), and some other little stuff (bows, spoons, teething toys). And I'm going to get them '1st christmas PJs' to wear on christmas morning. Thats about it.

We're not getting the girls much either. They really don't need anything, and they will have no idea what Christmas is. What we decided to do is buy them each something long-lasting and special from this great toy company in Wisconsin (Oompa Toys). All of the toys are from Europe or are really good quality, so they're expensive. Hence, we don't buy them all that often! For Christmas I think we're buying blocks and the start of a train set.

We didn't get much at all last Christmas, because everyone else spoiled them. I had intended to get them a personalized keepsake but never got around to it. One of their favorite things we did buy last year was the Lamaze Chime Garden. We also bought them some pj's and some blocks.

Last year I bought the twins a Playskool Peek N Play Dome (they have them on walmart.com). They were a little young for it at the time but around 9-10 months they were playing with it. They are now 16 months and they still love to climb in it and play. Even my 6 year old likes to pretend it is an army guy hut. Well worth the money. I also bought them a Learn and Groove musical table. Once they could pull up to it they loved the sounds. They still play with that as well.

I agree to buy them what they need. Mine are so young I bought them each a BebePOD and some little toys they can play with. I may buy another OceanWonders for the other crib if that will ever be put together...augh!
