Ok so i am going to be having another c-section with this one baby. What did you guys wear or bring to the hospital? I will be at the hospital prob for 3- 4 days. LAst time with the girls I just wore there stuff but with friends and family coming to visit not sure if i should get a nice nightgown or not.

I took a couple pairs of pajamas because I can never sleep in those hospital gowns - I feel like I'm all tangled up! I bought Japanese Weekend pjs and they were great, comfortable and designed for breastfeeding moms. They are also cute which is nice when people visit. I had another gown but was a big fan of the pants and tops instead.

I basically brought black yoga pants and some shirts. However-after having major surgery-I could care less about what I look like! LOL! The first few days I just stay in the hospital gown. Probably the third day I put on the yoga pants. I basically wore the same thing coming/going from the hospital. I personally, if I were to do it again, would not spend the $$ on getting fancy nightgowns/maternity gowns. That's just me. Congrats btw!

I brought a gown, cause I wasn't sure I wanted a waistband from pants rubbing me. And a robe...and then my leaving home outfit, was a track suit that shoulda been two sizes larger...I was in denial, ha. I guess I thought I'd drop 50lbs as soon as they were born, gah. LOL.

I brought a couple of pairs of PJs (stretchy ones) and a house coat, plus some socks. And undies. On the way home I just wore the jeans and t-shirt I originally wore to the hospital - it was only a car ride so I didn't mind what I looked like and whether the clothes were a little loose.

If you have long hair, might want to bring some hair elastics.

Last time I wore the hospital gown until I had my IV out and took a shower. After that I wore a pair of Japanese Weekend nursing pajamas. I felt much better last time than I did after my c-section with the twins. It was much more comfortable receiving visitors in pjs than in the hospital gown which always seemed to open in the wrong place!

I plan to bring some comfy, loose fitting pj's and some type of track suit for going home. When I had the twins I was airlifted to Seattle to deliver so I didn't plan on having visitors. My parents showed up which was fine but so did a few of our male friends that we hadn't seen in a while, that was very uncomfortable for me.

Well it seems everyone so far had brought pj's. But did that rub against your c-section if you had one? Also when they do exams and such wouldn't pj's be in a way? Just wondering. I'm thinking more of this cause I know I will have family and friends and such this time visitng and want to look somewhat ok lol.

Button-down nightie would be great for the c-section wound, if you can find one. I've seen cool hospital gowns you can buy too! Not sure if you'd be into that, but I saw a woman wearing one on A Baby Story and she looked adorable: http://www.babybeminematernity.com/store/osc/index.php?cPath=25
