When the boys were first born we used Pampers Swaddlers, then we switched to Huggies when the went to a size 1 and have been loyal ever since. I did try luvs once but they were horrible and went back to huggies. With the price increase in diapers I bought a box of Walmart White cloud.

They dont leak but the tabs dont hold. and the diapers are always falling off.

I really love huggies but they are getting to expensive.

    what do you use?

    Likes and dislikes?

    thanks

I used huggies until we switched to Sam's club brand "members mark.' We like them.

We have always used Pampers. We used the swaddlers and then the cruisers. We tried Huggies but I didn't think they fit our chunky kids very well. I also tried the Pampers BabyDry, before they had stretchy sides and hated them

I have always used huggies like you i tried luvs once and HATED them, and then tried the target brand and they did okay but i thought they felt like paper on the babies little butts!
We buy huggies at costco and they are much cheaper than at target!

We are pampers people here. We used the swaddler and then cruisers. Huggies didn't fit my chunky monkeys either. Anyway, for daycare I get the BRU brand. They are cheaper and since we don't usually leak out they work for us. I get our diapers at BRU when they have coupons.

I can't wait for potty trained babes!

We use Walmart Parents Choice during the day. They work fine and are half the price of others.

We're also all about Huggies from Costco. Often Costco will also send out coupons for dollars off of their already cheap prices.

It's so funny that people have said Huggies didn't fit their chunky babies, because we thought the same thing about Pampers. We tried Pampers first and they didn't come up high enough on the belly (even bigger sizes) so our boys always seemed to pee out the top! Never had that problem with Huggies. I guess you just have to try them all and see what works for you.

Our second best choice behind huggies was Especially for Baby (the R Us brand). I think they're cheaper than the big names (and always coupons if you're on the mailing list also), maybe not quite as cheap as the other store brands, but we thought better than the other store brands. If they didn't have Huggies at Costco, that's probably what we'd use.

Pampers people here, too. But I have relatives that work for P & G, so trying to support family. (who supports us with free products when they can)

If you like Huggies you will like the Costo store brand(Kirklands) diapers. They are almost identical to the Huggies Supremes and a little less. Huggies actually makes them for Costco.

I also didnt like White cloud for the same reason. But I do love the Target brand, not one problem here... even during severe diarhea episodes!!

At our Costco, the Huggies are actually cheaper than the Kirklands. I think it's because they are the basic Huggies, not the Supremes, but the basic Huggies have always done the trick for us.

For sizes 1 and 2 we used Pampers Swaddlers.

Since size 3 we've used Huggies Supreme and have been very happy with them.

From newborn to size 2 we used Pampers Swaddlers. Size 3 we used Pampers Cruisers and now in the size 4 we use Luvs. I hated Luvs when the boys were smaller but now they fit really well and we haven't had any leaks. We are in the size 4 although we're not close to the weight just because they were starting to get plumber's crack in the size 3.

I have tried Huggies, Parent's Choice, White Cloud and Target brand at every stage. The Target brand were okay while we were in a size 2, but otherwise, I've had no luck with any of them.

For us we used Pamper Swaddlers from preemie to size 2. We decided to save some $$$$ and switch them to Target brand #3 and #4. They are currently still using the Target brand in size #5 for daytime. However, we use Pamper Crusier for bed time and it is working out for us.

I have no idea if we will need to switch as we have a boy and he does pee a lot. At the moment Pamper Crusier is holding it until after they get up from bed. Sometimes, if he's not too wet I would wait until after breakfast.

I guess we're the weird ones....we love Luvs! I actually like them better than Pampers, I don't know why....I think it's the nice lattice print :)

We used Swadders and Baby Dry until they were about 8 months, then I tried Luvs. They work fine and of course they are cheaper. I have tried Huggies once a long time ago, and one other store brand, but just didn't like them. But honestly we've rarely had problems with leaks, with any diapers.

This is exactly what I was going to say. Also, ditto BridgePort that Costco often has $3 off a box of diapers, stock up then. My favorite is Pampers Baby Dry. But I'm kind I'll use any of the following if they hit my pricing threshold:

    Pampers
    Huggies
    Kirkland
Luvs (they have a new version of these now...stretchier sides)
    Target

That said, I've had so much success with pairing coupons and sales that I haven't gone outside of Pampers/Huggies in 6 months b/c it's cheaper than even Luvs/Target generics.

We used Swaddlers when they were newborn but we switched to Sam's Club brand at size 2. We also use the BRU brand. The day after Thanksgiving they were $10 a box! I stocked up!

I use whatever I have a coupon for that makes them cheap. I never pay more than $5 for a jumbo pack. I did get a good stockpile last summer with Pampers at Target during their deals.

I have three in diapers. DS, who is four, has a bowel disease, so toilet training has been hard and will be. I have used all varieties. Right now we have Luvs, Pampers baby dry, Pampers cruisers, huggies supreme, huggies regular, pampers easy ups, pampers feel and learn and huggies pullups. When ds was a baby, I used pampers baby dry, white cloud diapers and target diapers. I actually didn't mind white cloud, but they do run smaller, as do target diapers. The twins are a few lbs apart, so I need a bigger diaper.

I really like huggies supreme, but rarely buy them unless I come across a clearance or something. Even though I have a huge stockpile of diapers, etc, I always buy a pack or two if I get them cheap since they do diminish fast, as you know.

Luvs are nice now that they have the stretchy tabs, and I also like the pampers cruisers.

We use pretty much anything. I like the Target diapers. The WalMart ones are OK, but not great. I really like Pampers Baby Dry, but I'm cheap and have been sticking with store brands. I buy Luvs sometimes too.

We used Huggies for preemie to size 2 until Katie started having constant blowout diapers in them once she became more active. We tried several different brands and the only ones that didn't leak were the Pampers cruisers. As the girls have gotten older, I've tried the Kirkland brand(Costco) and Huggies again and we still get more leaks with them than the Pampers.

We were just like you. Started with Swaddlers then went to Huggies. We are now complete fans of Costco's Kirkland diapers. I alwalys suspected they were made by Huggies, but I like them better than Huggies, I think they are softer in my opinion. With our new baby, as soon as she was out of the Swaddlers, we went right to Kirkland diapers in the size 1-2... love them!!!

And a side point, I like that they only have one print on them. Chloe and Cole were fighting over what diaper they would want, the one with Pluto or the one with Minnie... Anything to avoid a whiney toddler.

I have used Smiles from Sam's club for years!!! Great diapers. Once I got a bad box....the tabs on one side were backwards. I got a free box and 5 $5 off coupons for future diapers. So custumer service is good too! Occasionally if I have to buy at the store I get Luvs.

Actually, this is why I stopped using Pampers! They were fighting over which Sesame Street character they wanted. UGH! I ended up using Target or WalMart diapers because they don't have characters on them.

We have always used Pampers. First it was the swaddlers, then size 2, 3, 4 and now Michael is in 5. Mikayla pretty much potty trained now, so we get pull ups for her for night time.

We tried Huggies once and Hated them. They leaked all over. We get either Baby Dry or Cruisers, both work very well for us.

We go back and forth between pampers, huggies, costo brand, another store brand here in ontario and Target brand.

Target and the other store brand are mainly for Mason but C&C can get away with wearing them too. We basically get whatever is cheapest when we need them. Actually we just went shopping to buffalo yesterday and I bought 4 huge boxes of the target brand!

We started with the pampers swaddlers as new borns, then switched to the wal mart brand (parents choice), then about 9 months ago we switched to Kirkland (costco generic brand). We love them and have never had a leak..

I have heard really good things about Smiles but they dont have them where I live:(

I went back to walmart and bought a smaller size in the white cloud and I think i grabbed supreme this time and they are working great! I think I replaced the huggies.

At 1 year old, we switched to cloth because it was cheaper and didn't have any chemicals. I've tried many brands but my favorite is the Happy Heinys. They have velcro and go on just like a disposable and washing only consists of a cold rinse, hot wash, and then throw them in the dryer. They're so easy and economical. I've cloth diapered Dax since birth and he's using many of the same diapers now that I used on the girls so we're saving even more money.
