What degrees does it need to be before they can get out in the weather?

It is 70 and windy here, but nice... I want to take the boys to the park, but I want to make sure it is warm enough for Katie... what do you guys think?

If so, what should I dress her in?

    Thanks for advice!

Good question. My daughter has been having softball practice and I was wondering when it would be warm enough to take them. I was thinking maybe in the low 70's or upper 60's if there isn't a cold wind blowing. If it is to windy I would put a hat on her. I can't wait to take mine outside.

Oh I can tell y'all ;) are from the South! I'm in chilly MN, and my threshhold for getting out of the house is 30 degrees!! I have a twin Mom friend who goes out everyday walking as long as it's above 15 degrees!! Bottom line, if they are bundled up enough, you'll be fine. I would say for sure anything in the 60s/70s shouldn't be a problem. Heck, that's a heat wave here, and we'd probably be out in shorts!!!

    Enjoy your warm weather!

That's exactly what I was thinking!!

I remember wnen I lived in Bermuda. Some woman were talking about a new mom they knew. They were saying that it was too bad the baby was born in winter and wouldn't it be hard for her to take the baby out to dr's appt's etc since it was so cold! I just couldn't believe it (I'm from Canada). I was laughing so hard. And had to explain to them that people in Canada take their babies out in winter so surely babies could be taken out in winter in Bermuda (where ave temps are around 65F or so in winter).

LOL we were out yesterday at 45 degrees, a "nice" day! As newborns, they walked my oldest to school bundled of course. I wouldn't take them walking if it was under 15 degrees though.
