What color do you think her eyes will be?

It is weird sometimes they look blue, sometimes green, sometimes hazel. People ask and I just have to say they are light.
What do you think they will be from your experiences?

Blue. Evan was born with very dark eyes.. but they were still blue. They now have changed to hazel like his dad's though.

 

Here sister definately has brown eyes!!

bottom line is you just never know for about a year.

I think they'll be brown.

My dd had bluer eyes like that and her eyes suddenly turned dark brown at about 10 months old.

All my other kids have blue eyes and their eyes seemed to be a lighter blue and got lighter as they got older.

 

I agree with Twoplustwo, I say brown. My girls had deep blue eyes like that & they both have brown eyes now.

 

I'm terrible at predicting these things. . . my littlest guys are almost 6 months, and their eyes are still changing. . . sort of brown, but with blue around the edges. . . who knows?? Mine are brownish-green, my hub's are blue, the other children have blue or hazel.

 

I would guess brown, too. My older DS eyes did not change to brown until he was over 1-year-old. They went from dark blue, to a greyish color, to hazelish color, and finally to brown. My twin boys eyes are following a similar pattern and I'm guessing they, too, will be brown. All the babies I have known with blue eyes seem to be born with lighter blue eyes and then their eyes either get even lighter or they stay the same shade. But you never know, she could end up with green or hazel?

Same here! My DD's eyes were blue-grey-green for most of her first year, but they've been darkening since then. Even now, at 4, I wouldn't call them quite brown... but I think they will be within the next year or so! My twins are 10 months, and I can't really say what either one's eye color is! Ben's are dark, not brown, just dark blue/grey, and AJ's are lighter blue-grey... but I still think that neither of them will end up having blue eyes! I have dark brown eyes, and my DH has light blue eyes.

4-yr-old DD - still a hint of greenish-grey in those light brown eyes!

 

My girls are 13 months old and I am just now starting to feel confident in saying they are hazel. They have a dark blue-grey around the outer 2/3 and the inner 1/3 is greenish brown. It is so hard to get a good look at them and I can only see the true color when the light is shining in them, and of course that is when they close them! They started out the typical dark slate color but by 4 months old they turned their current shade and haven't changed since. People comment on the color when they see them. Also weird b/c DH and I both have light brown so I assumed we'd have brown eyed girls, but I guess those recessive genes from our grandfathers have resurfaced.

So my point is you may not know for a while!

Its so unpredictable. My DD1 had the brightest blue eyes... and all of the sudden they turned brown over night.

 

My apologies... I don't think anyone knows what color they will be... they just looked blue in that picture.. I misread your question.

 

My girls' eyes changed colors with the weather or what they were wearing until they were about 9mo old. Now they both have brown eyes but one is golden brown and the other is brown with blue around the edges!
