    Hello Ladies,
I need some advice on maternity clothing. I am 24 weeks and wearing the clothes that I wore with all of my singletons at 35 weeks! The clothes fit fine now but I know I am only going to get bigger with the twins. So what do you wear....any good places to find clothing for that expanding belly? Most of the XL maternity either is way too long in the arms for me or looks horrible small for an XL like it would only get me a few weeks past where i am with my current clothes. Any advice would be great!

Hubby's clothes work well for me, because even XL maternity shirts seem waaaay too short and my belly is always sticking out the bottom. Also, I find cotton/stretchy maternity dresses and coveralls work well because they can expand a little longer and don't involve a waist.

i am 18W1D, and am outgrowing everything. Ok, have outgrown everything. Went and got some really big and comfy scrubs to lounge in, and it seems today will be the last time i fit them. Also, DH insisted on getting pajama sets since i am on bedrest, so even though i normally wear a small size, i picked them up in a 2X and cross my fingers the belly doesnt outgrow them.

I just want to say good luck.

I'm still wearing under-belly pants because anything full panel is just too tight (I don't have any of the secret fit belly from Motherhood but have heard great things about them!) The waistband gets pushed down a little and only two of my shirts are long enough to cover my belly anymore. The key is definitely go for length. Anything like extra long sweaters or even dresses will be your best bet.

I have to say. . I only EVER wore maternity clothes with my first son...(singleton) and then it was only 2 outfits that I bought.

Honestly after that, I wore regular clothes. I never found the need to buy expensive maternity clothing that I was going to wear for a short time and then dont need anymore. The jeans I wear are kind of low rise, so I was still able to wear them UNDER my belly, and even if I couldnt button them, they got worn! ;) I just wore bigger tshirts that would cover my belly and a little over my jeans. I do remember buying a couple larger size pants when I was pregnant with the twins, but not maternity, just a bigger size than what I wore.

Ditto the secret fit pants from motherhood. I also just ordered a pair of jeans with a similar belly from jcpenney that I can't wait to get and try on, hope they fit!!!

As for shirts, I am buying a size larger (3x for me), and in the tall size if I can find. Again, I ordered a couple from jcpenney last night from their thanksgiving sale, can't wait to get them and try them on!

Winter is great because most sweaters are cut longer so you can easily find longer shirts to wear! And t-shirts....well my belly is sticking out of the bottom of all mine and I have no clue where to get longer ones! I just let it all hang out around the house!! lol Save my few long shirts for going out!

I wear my low band jeans that go under my tummy I bought at gap-they still fit from when I bought them at 20 weeks- or I wear dresses I bought at motherhood, or yoga pants that just rest under my tummy and stretchy maternity shirts I bought at target or motherhood.
I also wear tunicy tops with leggings.

Ditto on the long tops with leggings. Now that I'm on bed rest, I wear PJ/yoga pants from Target and some v-neck tees or tank tops (so I don't turn my hospital room into a meat locker) from Motherhood. Oh, and lots of DH's t-shirts to sleep in. :D

I wore maternity jeans from JC Penney - and maternity shirts that were long - they looked a little odd in the beginning but in the last weeks they were almost too small! my belly was ALL out front! I have pics of me 10 days before the girls were born and you can see the elastic panel on my maternity jeans (at the time I had NO idea  !!! I thought I was covered!) I also wore 2x sized pj pants around my house I am so short that I cut off a couple of them so I would't trip! I bought maternity panties and nursing bras from motherhood maternity but my favorite panties I bought from Lane Bryant they lasted my entire pregnancy and were great after my c-section too!
