Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question, but I need ideas for what I can put on their toast. I usually give them toast for breakfast and for their snack. So far I've tried: butter, butter and jam, cream cheese, melted cheese, and hummus. The only other thing I can think of is peanut butter, but I'm waiting until they're older to introduce nuts. Any suggestions? Thanks so much!

My girls love vegemite and butter on their toast, but Im not sure if you can buy that in America anymore.

    They also love strawberry jam.

Have you tried giving them cruskits, they are good plain, and with jam on them, my girls are eating them right now :p

    Hi!
I've heard of vegemite, but I haven't seen it in the store. I'd love to try it out! What's cruskits? I haven't heard of that. Thanks for your response.

A thin layer of finely chopped egg salad? Cottage cheese? How about making them cinammon toast (put butter and cinammon sugar on bread and toast in the toaster oven? [IMG]

How about soy butter? It's like peanut, but no peanuts. Also apple butter is a good one. It's basically just pureed apples.

We blend up just about any fruit - apple, pear, strawberry, blueberry etc. It is also very yummy to mix the fruit with cream cheese.

Apple butter is great and it also has alot less sugar than regular jelly or jam if I remember right. I love the stuff....but hmmmm we havent had any in awhile, I guess I will have to get some when I go shopping.
