I'm just curious what kinds of diapers and wipes everyone uses. I find myself just getting whatever brand is the cheapest. I have noticed that alot of people are very adament about what kind of diapers and wipes they use on their babies. So what kind do you all use and why?

I'm not very good at making polls so I hope this makes sense. LOL.

Ummm there were 3 questions there before what happened to the other one? Can someone tell me how to fix it?

I use store brand (Target) wipes, Huggies and store brand (Target) diapers. I choose them based on price and personal experience. (Less leaking, etc.)

We use kirkland brand wipes. They come from Costco, are very cheap and work better adn are thicker than even the pampers wipes, IMHO.

We use Parents choice (walmart brand) diapers. We switched to them after using pampers swaddlers for like the first 3 months. They are significantly cheaper and we have yet to have a single leak with them...

We use Luv's. Our son was 9lbs 7oz at birth and is now almost 25lbs at 9 months, in size 4 diapers. Nothing else fits and if it does, it' leaks so severely, we have to change his sheets every morning. Plus, I pay $9.99 for a gigantic pack and I don't think that's too bad. :)

I use the Target brand wipes. I like them, and they don't hurt the baby's tushie since he's got sensitive skin and is prone to diaper rashes.

We use Pampers diapers. When the boys were born, I purchased one bag of every diaper brand I came across so that I could try them all. By far, Pampers was the best for leaking and softness. When they grew out of the Swaddlers, I did the same thing and compared different types of larger diapers. I still liked Pampers the best.

We also use Pampers wipes. I like them because they are soft and fairly thin compared to other wipes. They are great for getting into all the creases.

I use Pampers (Baby Dry or Cruisers) for overnight. My twin girl leaks through the rest.

During the day I use the big boxes of Huggies from Costco and I just got a few boxes from Target. I used Target in the past, and they're fine for during the day (and cheap).

Wipes ... I usually get Kirkland at Costco, sometimes the Huggies when I have a Costco coupon for them.

I use Costco/Kirkland brand wipes for several reasons:

    1. Cheap
    2. Girls don't have a reaction to them
    3. Soft
    4. I love the individual plastic packages (over the boxes other wipes come in)

I use Huggies most often, and I buy those at Costco. I also will use the Costco/Kirkland brand if I have a Costco coupon, but otherwise the Huggies and the Costco brand are the same price. I prefer the fit of the Huggies more, but both diapers work great for us.

I use Target-brand wipes. I've used them since my oldest DD and have never had a problem with them plus I like the price. I had to use Pampers diapers with my oldest because every other brand would give her a rash. I had been using only Pampers with the twins until the last week or so because somebody gave us some Huggies. Almost every morning one of the babies has a wet nightgown if they wear the Huggies overnight so I won't be buying any of those when they run out.

  10. I love pampers swaddlers. They dont leak and are the only ones that dont give B&B diaper rash!!

We use the Huggies Supreme diapers. I love them! No leaks/rashes or anything. We also buy the Huggies wipes...this is weird but..... I like the way that they smell.

We use the Huggies Supreme diapers and wipes. I use these because Sam's carries big boxes of each for very cheap. We started using these once they were in size 2 diapers. Before that we only used Pampers Swaddlers because of the softness.

We use pampers (swaddlers) and have from the beginning. I have pretty much tried every other brand and pampers feel the best and didn't leak on my babies. Most of the off brands felt cheap and like paper to me. I felt like I had to change them a lot more offten with the off brands.

We use huggies wipes after trying all the other brands and we like them because they aren't too dry and not too wet. To me they are just thick enough to get them clean without having to use a bunch of wipes.

Huggies Supreme diapers - I used Pampers Swaddlers/Huggies interchangeably in the beginning but once they hit size 3 the Pampers Cruisers gave them rashy butt....I also use Huggies wipes just because - I really like the Shea butter ones...

*I* am allergic to the Pamper's wipes. They cause a flare up of dyshidrosis on my wiping hand. Huggies don't seem to bother me.

I will say that I was a Swaddlers/Cruisers user and loved them...until they changed the Baby Dry tabs. They are flex now. I LOVE that they don't swell as bad during the night. My DS pees a lot during the night and it seemed like he was carrying around a bowling ball in his Cruisers. Now, with the Baby Dry, it feels like it would be more comfortable to him.

I really haven't figured out why Pampers has the Swaddlers/Cruisers and the Baby Dry. :unknw:

We use cloth everything around here so all I have to do is wash stuff...wipes, diapers, spitup rags, drool rags, snot rags :) We wash the wipes and diapers separate from the other stuff of course :) I felt bad about throwing that much stuff away so from the get go we decided we'd atleast give cloth a shot...turns out it's a little less stinkier for us for now and they don't tend to wet through at night (add an extra liner). Wipes are super easy too. All I do is put them in a water tight container and add some Johnson's and Johnson's baby Soap and the wipes are nice and soft and fleecy and wash right with the diapers in the same pail. So as long as things stay convenient for us we're using cloth. Of course when we travel to California next month on flying days we'll probably buy some disposables but will bring the cloth diapers and wipes with us so we don't have to buy diapers that week :)
I'm tyring to be frugal where possible with two kids at once. Anyway, off my soapbox now :D

We were using Pampers Swaddlers until they outgrew them. Now we use Kirkland (Costco) diapers and wipes. The Costco diapers are just as good (never had an accident) and much cheaper.

I wanted to use cloth diapers, but DH threw a hissy fit. Hey - I guess if he wants to pay that much for something we throw away that's his deal!

    Daytime diaper = Pampers Cruisers

    Overnight diapers = Huggies Overnights

Wipes = Huggies wipes (thicker than Pampers) :)

After trying many different types of diapers and wipes, we have finally found that these work for us....no leaking, rashes, or accidents. :D

I use Huggies because I like the way they fit and feel. My daughter never got diaper rash and my boys haven't either.

I used to use Costco (like Sam's club) wipes, but stopped once I tried one myself. They are incredibly harsh and it actually hurt to use one to wipe myself. (sorry if that's tmi, but honestly I never would have known this if I hadn't tried it) Ever since then, I have only used Pampers sensitive on my daughter and babies.

I use Parent's Choice wipes, they are just as good as the others! And we use Huggies Supremes in diapers. They are the best diaper ever! They are thick and comfy soft feeling.

Same here! Once DS 1 got older, we switched him to the Kirkland brand diapers and overnight huggies.

Pampers swaddlers here and I LOVE THEM!!!! I do not know what we will do when they outgrow them - I called pampers
today they say that the cruisers are just as soft but I havn't felt them yet! Ava has very sensitive skin - she really broke out the time I decided to buy another brand of diaper. I use unscented wipes - it seems like as long as the wipes are unscented they do fine I have bought several brands and they have been fine.

I use Kirkland diapers only because my inlaws have been buying all of our diapers for the first year (baby gift) & that is what my fil always buys. I like Pampers better but the Kirkland ones aren't bad. I hate the Pampers wipes & will only use the Huggies ones or sometimes the Kirkland ones. The Pampers ones seem so thin!

Right now I use the Pampers Swaddlers and LOVE them. I tried some Huggies but BOTH babies leaked on that really quick within the hour. The Swaddlers fit them great and seem comfortable and NO leakage even when faced with explosive episodes of poo!! We'll see what happens later on. They were first in Preemie swaddlers, now they are in Newborn size, size 1 is still too big but even when I tried the too big size 1 there was no leakage. I LOVE this diaper.
For wipes I like the Huggies newborn ones. They are nice and thick and gentle on babies skin at the same time. Pampers wipes are not as thick or as moist but I'll take them anyway if they are on super sale.

We use the huggies wipes because I really dont like getting poop under my fingernails lol So its basically for the thickness.
We chose to use pampers (baby dry)because they seem to be the best fit and havent had any trouble with leakage. Huggies seem too bulky and they end up with blow outs with luvs.

On a side note, when my teens were babies we used huggies and luvs. It seems like they have become lesser products than they use to be.

Oh and pampers is working on a new "organic" type of diapers and wipes. Unfortunately you will get less in a package and will cost about $1 more. I did a survey on it this morning on NFO (MySurvey).

wipes: Parents choice from Wal-Mart because they are very similar to the Huggies in thickness and softness and are of course cheaper.

diapers: The big box of Huggies from Sam's because of the bulk quantity...I have tried Pampers and Huggies and all the others, but I like Huggies and Pampers the best...because of the stretch tabs. However, Huggies diapers you get more in the box for the money and that's why I choose them. AND I only have to go to Sam's once a month to get diapers!

Cloth diapers - we have a diaper service that makes it super super easy!

I use either the Costo wipes or Target brand sensitive fragrance free wipes.
