What books to read?

How did you all figure this out? Where do you start? I am clueless!

Books for you or your children? I didn't read any for me, but for the girls, I started by getting books for them to read that talked about pottying (or I read to them anyway)--I got a great one from Toys R Us that they push a button and it sounds like a potty flusing with a girl giggling in the background--they had one for a boy, too. I also rented some DVD's about pottying from Netflix to get them started. That at least got them introduced to the idea.

 

I think I need a book for mom! Seriously, I don't want to do it all wrong and then have to start all over. DO I just follow DD's lead or what?

 

I'm right there with you! I don't even know where to start. I bought potty seats a couple of months ago and the girls love to sit on them, clothed and not, but nothing's happened thus far. I feel clueless! I'm going to wait until after the holidays and then really get into it I think...we'll see!

I just popped onto Amazon and this one has some favorable reviews and what I read in the peek inside seems like it would work for me. It does seem to be more anectdotal vs. technique and steps, but I tend to like that a little more than a text book per se anyway.
