We use the Nuk. However, mine were willing to take anything. They didn't seem to have a preference.

we use mam pacifiers & the girls will spit out anything else, which is terrible since lately we are having a problem keeping up with them. [IMG]

We use Soothies, but the girls don't suck on them they chew on them. They broke their two top teeth on them. [IMG]

We used NUK until they started teething. Then we switched to MAM... that looks like butterflies so that the drool would not stay on their face.

We started with Nuk, but found that they couldn't hold those in their mouths. I'm not even sure what brand we use (probably various). We had 2 Pooh pacifiers that someone had given us, and the boys were able to keep those in their mouths better, so I buy the ones that have the button end on them. (I hope that description wasn't too confusing.)

They started out with gumdrops/soothies, but I switched them to mam at about 2 months.

    soothies didn't work for us.

we use MAM silicone pacifiers for 0-6 months. It has been awhile since I bought them but I like to buy them at Target because they come in a case to keep them in.

we started with what the hospital gave us which were the nuk but then we needed to use soemthing else when they hit 6 months because rather than chew or suck, they were fitting the whole bink in their mouth so we found another kind that is made for 6 months and up and has little nubbies on the thin part for teething. The boys lvoe them. I think they're made by NUBBY if thats a brand though they're only available at walmart. They also come with a little plastic thing on the tip to cover it.

We use the Avent pacifiers. The twins really didn't care that much as long as they had one. I bought Liam the Avent because those are the bottles that we use.

mine are still using their green soothie pacis they got in the NICU for free!!! It is so funny to my husband and I b/c we went out and bought a bunch of different kinds of pacis and they don't like any of them. All they want is their green soothie paci!! And like a PP said, they don't even suck on it anymore - they chew on it!! I think b/c they are teething they just love the soft plastic?? But I have to watch them with it b/c my one DD somehow fit the whole thing in her mouth!!! So I only give them to them when I am watching them. When they go to bed they suck their thumbs.....

only one of my dds takes the paci but we generally use the Avent ones. She will pretty much suck on any paci we give her but we have just stuck to the Avent. I like that they have the handle thingy on it so we can attatch a paci clip thingy (gosh I don't seem to know the name of anything today [IMG]) to her bibs or clothes when we go out.

c will only take the one from the hospital NICU that they gave her its different and we had to order them fromt he NICU so we ordered a small box of them to have on hand.there kind of like the soothie but the face part is thin and the mose part is cut out. M does not take one very often when she does she will take anything but we just use the same kind as C.

Ar first they would only take the Sotthies. Now they will only take a Nuk. If I try to give them anything else, they look at me as if I am trying to poison them.

At first, DD would only take the Soothie (brought home from NICU) & DS took to the Nuk right away (like pp, I had 3 different kinds on hand before they were even born). Now both will only take the Nuk & DS will only take that when sleeping/napping- if he's awake, he'd rather attempt to stick his entire fist in his mouth! DD is starting to teeth & is having a harder time than DS did (he got his 2nd tooth yesterday- 1st on Valentine's Day) so now she prefers her Nuk fresh from the freezer!

The only pacifiers that stay in the boys' mouths are the full-term ones they used in the NICU, made by gumdroppacifiers.com. We got some for free from the NICU, but we keep losing them, so bought some extra ones. Check them out at http://www.gumdroppacifiers.com/fullterm-pacifiers.html.

Soothies.... it's a great paci for breastfeeding kiddos as it doesn't encourage tongue thrust like some of the others. my boys now only use them for sleeping.. and teething!!
