What are your plans for strollers

For those of you who are now having a singleton, are you planning to get a new stroller? My twins will be 28 months when the baby is born and I am debating between keeping the double stroller and just babywearing, keeping the double stroller and getting a single for when we go somewhere with DH, or getting a bigger stroller that accommodates 3 children. I'm stumped because most of the strollers that accommodate 3 children are designed more for one older child and then younger twins instead of two older with one baby. I also have to make sure it is an option that works for DH as well because he stays home with the kids when I work.

I'm planning on babywearing. Here's a great review of different carriers (she talks about her husband's preferences as well). Find a carrier (or two) that you & your husband like & go with that.

My DH fell in love with babywearing when I pointed out he could hold both girls, without either of them crying or fussing AND still play video games. :good:

I'm another vote for babywearing and double stroller:) THIS is me with the boys at 19 months and Hannah was 1 month on a trip to the mall:)

I also used the umbrella and double stroller if we went someplace and someone else could help me push them.

My girls are older but I still have my double stroller just in case we need one - like for zoo trips etc.... I will attach the baby's car seat to the stroller if need be. I also have a single stroller that matches his car seat for shorter trips. I also have a wagon like stroller ( Fisher Price all terrain stroller) and an actual wagon for later when the baby is older.

I'm also hoping to babywear this time, especially for short trips out.

We are also trying to figure this exact thing out. Our DD's will be 16 months when #3 is born and we are stumped. I am leaning toward baby wearing and double stroller as well, but since my girls are still so young we have been wondering whether it would be a good idea to get a triple stroller. I found a triple jogging stroller that sits 3 across, but I'm not sure that is going to fit through doors, so it may not be practical for anything but taking walks... we are also looking at a single snap and go off of craigslist for the first couple of months...

I'm voting for babywearing too! I have looked for a triple that accomodates 2 older and 1 younger, but just haven't found anything. I will keept the double for the boys and just wear my girl until we need something bigger. I'm in the same boat as y'all!!

My twins were 17 months old when #3 came and still no triple stroller after one year (or a single stroller, either). I used a Bjorn for the first 2 months then switched to my Beco baby carrier, which I still use. I think my youngest has only been in a stroller once or twice. When he could sit up, we rigged our wagon with a "trailer" which he sat in... still considering the Choo Choo Wagon by Step2. I do check craigslist every now and then for a Joovy Big Caboose, but by now it just isn't worth it. Congratulations on #3!!!!
