I have this thing I do when it comes to feeding time. My one son has to have a red or orange spoon that I use to feed him and he has the same colorish sippee lid and my other son gets green or yellow for each. I also put one in red more and the other in blue. I really dont know why but I keep doing it. What do you guys do??

I try to put Maddy in more pinkish cloths and Micky in more purplish. It is easier for others to tell them apart at a glance. I also try to use green bottles for Maddy and pink or blue for Micky so I can kind of track who it eating how much.

I used to have Evan in green and James in blue so my family could tell them apart (even though they're not identical and to me they look nothing alike - I guess newborns all look the same if you're not their mother/father!). Now I always hold their clothes up when I'm dressing them and whoever grabs an item of clothing first wear that item of clothing - I like to pretend they're choosing their outfits. I never dress them the same if I can help it.

Sophie usually wears more purple and Kate usually gets the yellow, if there is that. (Nursery colors are purple and yellow)

It is mostly to help me tell them apart when I look back at the pictures 20 years later.

Also they have night time binkies, and day time binkies, and you can't mix them up! I think I do that so I won't lose them, you know, don't take set out of the crib so they are always in there.

With Dylan...I'm a little bit more "rowdy"...he likes to "stand" up more while being held...loves for me to blow razberries on his neck and tummy...loves for me (and big brother) to "boo" him...he just smiles and squeals when you "scare" him....
Aidan on the other hand, is my "runt" baby...he doesn't like to put weight on his feet most of the time...he's content to snuggle and be quiet until HE's ready to "talk"...and he HATES loud noises (no "boo" for him) ha!
It's almost like I have to switch gears when talking to both at the same time since they are sooo different...

I'm also more likely to hand one off moreso to waiting relatives vs. the other...

My DH does this when he dresses the girls! And surprisingly Meara usually picks out the color that works best for her (purple or blue because it brings out her bright blue eyes!).

As for quirky things I do... well I have this thing where they have to have the same color nipple ring on the two bottles for each feeding. I organize all the bottles for the day and have them paired off in the fridge so you just grab the next two. DH has learned to just let me have this one thing because I really like that to both have the same color bottle... I don't know why.

I set out the clothes the night before and DH dresses them in the morning. I guess it just started that the outfit on the right is Lucas' and the outfit on the left is Jonas'...DH came up with that.

Jonas sits in the highchair to my right while Lucas sits directly in front of me (kitchen table on my left so I can grab wipes, etc as I need them)...don't know why but that's a thing of mine. Jonas bathes first then Lucas. Lucas always prefered my right breast for bfing so even though they mainly take bottles now I still put him on my right side. Like one of the pps...I have daytime and nighttime binkies...it helps to keep track of them. They each have a different color wobbie blanket and Jonas gets the blue with brown while Lucas gets the brown with blue...don't know why that matters.

Ok...I'm gonna stop now 'cause y'all are gonna think I'm off my rocker...I guess I have more quirks than I realized.
