I've joing the bpa-free group :) Got rid of most of the old sippie cups. For the most part, no problem since the kids are really old enough to drink from regular cups now. But we still need the occasional sippie.

Have you found one that your older toddlers enjoy? The problem I've been having is they're really designed for younger kids. I did a few months ago get 2 of the Kleen Kanteen's....which were great til we lost one. :( I'm still looking for it b/c I hate losing a $10 cup!

My 4 year olds no longer use sippy cups. We stopped using them about 9 months ago and I was happy to see them go. :) They keep their drinks at the table since using regular cups.

We still use Take & Toss ones. I like them because they're cheap! No biggie if one gets lost. We do have to buy more every year or so because the spouts crack (because they're cheap).

I think they're BPA free -- I haven't actually checked the packaging, but it's a thinner plastic, not like a water bottle. They can both drink from open cups, but Sarah prefers a lid at the table (she's afraid of spilling), and we also use them a lot when we're out & about.

For school and for their bedtime milk (which is drunk in the living room), we use BPA-free Nalgene Grip-N-Gulp bottles.

I use the Playtex Coolster Tumblers (I think they're BPA free). We don't really use sippies at home anymore, but in the car, at other people's houses, & outside, I prefer them. I got rid of all the ones with 'spouts' since I felt they shouldn't be drinking from those anymore. We also use straw sippies, like these (which are BPA free). I also got a big plastic (BPA free) water bottle from our grocery store that the kids LOVE! It's got a little piece in it that goes in the freezer so that when you put it in the bottle, it keeps things cold. The only downfall is that it doesn't have a 'valve', so it spills easily.

I can't wait to officially be done with sippies, but I don't forsee that happening for a while. So, for now, we use 'big kid sippies'! Good luck in your search!

I was going to recommend the playtex tumblers too... I have some ready for when we're ready to ditch sippies.

We haven't used sippies in a long while. If we go out and about they use one of our water bottles.

I've been wondering about sippies. We are at the point where we need to replace what we have, but I think it's time to move to something a little older. Maybe I'll look at some straw sippies.

We dont use sippies anymore either. But we do use Polar Bottles around the house and in the car. It gets so hot here in FL that I want them to stay hydrated. They each picked out their own color so they know which one is which.
