What are you using for a diaper bag?

I was using one from the hospital that I got free, but it was too small. I found a bag that I love, just a regular bag I had, but the straps broke. I looked at the Land's End one, the wide mouth, but I am afraid it will be too small. Here is what I usually carry:
    8 diapers
a change of clothes for each girl
    2 burp cloths
diaper wipes in a travel case
    butt cream
    changing pad
my wallet, cell phone, and small clutch type thing for my small stuff, and my camera

here is where it gets tricky:
    6 bottles
6 small containers of powdered formula, think travel shampoo size
12 bibs (they are very messy eaters and spit up a lot

So should I just carry around 2 small backpacks? Or is there a large, fashionable, not too expensive diaper bag out there?

I would carry two, and leave the extras of what you have in a bag in the car if you can!

I have a Winnie the Pooh denim bag from Avon that works GREAT. It's big, has TONS of pockets, and I put a changing pad inside it too... and it has a small bag for my personal things (the cell phone, camera, etc) the only downfall is there are no insulated compartments for bottles (I take mine premade and cooled) but I guess if you don't premake your bottles you'd be good to go! Everything would fit fine. I'd still keep a second, smaller bag though with the less unnecessary items (extra bibs, bottles) in the car, and just take those out as needed.

    :)

  4. I use the Lands End one and it seems to work great for me. I carry in it:

    10 diapers
2 changes of clothes for each twinkie (including socks)
    2 burp cloths
    2 bibs
    small can of formula
    baby wipes (travel case)
    bags for messy diapers
    extra binkies
    tylenol
2 8oz. bottles in the front of the diaper bag with water all ready to go in them
2 8 oz. empty bottles in the bag
1 20 oz. bottle of water
The bag came with a changing pad that I use

You might think about getting a purse that can be carried like a backpack instead of having two diaper bags :wavey:

You also might think about buying those bibs that can be thrown away when they are done eating and that might cut down on some of the bibs you have to carry :)

I have the Lands End Backpack and I really like it a lot.
I never carry that many bottles/formula (i breastfeed--I do have to carry my pump around with me often though!) but I would think things should fit okay.

I use a $15 backpack from Wal-mart. It has enough space to hold everything for my 3 that are still in diapers.

I use the Baby Sherpa backpack and I can fit so much, plus it has a built in cooler bag that can fit 6 cans.

I have a Eddie Bauer backpack diaper bag that is great for walks and short trips, but I recently bought a really big beach purse that looks good and holds a lot!!!

I have a large black 9 West bag i got pretty cheep that i love (it holds lots) i also have a second that i keep in the car, i figure that i dont have to carry tons of everything. If i have enough for an emergency diaper or spit up i can always run back to the car and restock my bag. I also have a bottle cooler that is so awsome i got from TJ MAXX that can hold 4 bottles and 2 small ice packs plus baby food and spoons i also throw a few teether that i freeze in there also so they can chew on them if were out and they help keep everything cool.

You will love the skip hop duo. I often had to carry two bags until I found this one!

I'd carry two. One for all the bottles/food, and another for all the other stuff.

I love the back pack ones with all the sections that do Not look like a diaper bag. I did find it at Walmart in the diaper bag section though.

Over the years I have used many bags but my favorite is a just a plain old backpack with a bunch of pockets. It is the most useful and the easiest thing to carry everywhere.

Beach tote bags!! And since it is nearing the end oif summer, you can find them cheap and buy a couple!! They work so grat, then I just put all my stuff in a "clutch purse" and toss it in the bag! For bottles, I put them in a little bottle bag and toss it in too! (I am an organizor freak! lol)

Anyway, when I did that I LOVED it!!!
