While many of you indicate how far along you are and if you're having girls/boys, I don't see many names. I'm curious as to what you're naming your little ones, if you've already decided or if there is still a debate, and who gets the final say -- you or dh?

I am 28 weeks, having boys but don't even have a short list (!) yet, and dh and I just decided yesterday that we both have to come up with 5 names we like and we'll go from there.

    I wish I knew! :)
Hubby and I took two months to name our puppy--I'm afraid our babies will come home from the hospital with numbers instead of names!

I have a strong preference for a girl name that will PROBABLY win out over other names if we have at least one girl: Thirza Michelle. (Thirza was my grandmother's name, and I've always liked Michelle)

For boys, we are at a complete loss and get in a heated discussion (not quite an argument) every time the subject comes up, so...

My dh is too much of a planner to let this go. Before we found out the sexes we had names picked out for 2 boys and 2 girls. It was actually pretty easy given that we had to come up with 2 names instead of one, but we decided that we each had got to choose one of the names- even if the other didn't completely agree. Thankfully it worked out well and we're both very happy with the names we've chosen.

I am only 18 weeks and have been thinking about names for awhile, but nothing really sticks out to us either- I know I love the name Hannah, but know I should be looking into boys names! I had a girls name ready for my child with my son, when we found out he was a boy, it took us forever to pick one! I told hubby I would kind of like to have some possiblities so when we go to the 20 week ultrasound and hopefully find out what were having we can call them by name instead of 1 or 2, or a or b!

We had two boys names and two girls names picked before we even knew what we were having!! I guess we are just too much of planners!!

I've got two boys on the way. We're naming Baby A -Matthew Paul and B - Christopher Timothy. Their middle names have "meaning" - the way Paul and Timothy in the Bible worked together in Ephesus to build the church there and minister to them has always been inspiring to me. I hope they work (and play) as well together!

Well, I thought that I was all set on names... My daughter predicted a girl and a boy and I was thinking the same. Hey, she knew there were 2 babies before we even realized we were pregnant! Alas... we are having 2 boys. I have one boy name picked out Ethan David and have not even begun to narrow the list for another boy name! Any suggestions would be considered! :D

Mine are Nathan Alan (Alan is dh middle name) and Natalie Elizabeth (elizabeth is my mothers first name but she goes by another name). I thought we were going to have a really hard time picking out the names but from the first time we talked about it we were set on the names. I just went online and googled twin names and Natalie and Nathan were one of them. I just wrote down for DH like 8-10 sets of names and he picked that one.

With DD, I went through about 10 girls names before settling on Emily Kate. With the twins, we picked them one morning when laying in bed. Baby A is Claire Avery and Baby B is Carlie Anne.

Our first child was suppose to Samantha but he came out a Zachary so when we were told twin girls we decided to use Samantha - Sami and we were not sure of the other one. Since I spent 6 weeks in the hospital, I got to make the final call. We decided on Paige Elizabeth and Samantha Marie.

I've only been able to come up with boy names, and really only one that I like. Corbitt Jackson, I'm still working on it. In truth we decide together, but I get final say.

Luckily we already had a boys name and girls name picked out for years! And they haven't changed. Once we found out we were having twins, we started thinking of other names and managed to come up with another boys name but not another girls name. So...we're having 2 boys and their names will be:

Daniel Clarence (middle name is dh's name)
Benjamin Mark (middle name is my dad's name)

We haven't told anyone the names since we want that part to be a surprise. I expect we'll call them Danny / Dan, Benji / Ben? I love names that have nice nicknames.

We agreed on a girl name right away -- Katelyn Isabelle. The boy's name is harder though! So far we have Gabriel Jacob, but I think we need a few more options. Though I do think Katie and Gabe sound cute together, but I'm probably biased :D

Well we're done, and looked at a lot of names. We needed something that would work in 2 languages (a little more European), so the "typical" American names were not an option. Also we wanted short, no typical "twin set name", nothing with the same initials (I already have tons of issues with the insurance about 2 babies born on the same day, let alone sharing the same initial). Our children don't have middle names, like myself.

A few others we had on our list:
    - Girl: Carlotta, Alexa / Alexia, Lily, Livia, Camille
    - Boy: Max (obviously not with Maxine), Oliver, Charlie, Casper and Alec

Hi im 24weeks pregnant and me and my dh had 2 sets of names picked out if they were going to be 2 boys or 2 girls but we found out that we are having a boy/girl which we both were really happy to find that out, so we r naming baby A Gabrianna Nicole and Baby B Antonio Enrique..it wasnt hard for us picking out names cause we both loved them names....

We can't decide! We had 2 definite names picked out for boys and also if they were b/g and then of course we found out we are expecting 2 girls :D

I really like Sarah and Sydney but DH does not like either of those names. We each made a list of our top 10 names and we actually shared 3, (Lily, Amelia, and Margaret) so we will probably go with 2 of those, but I just hate to give up on Sarah and Sydney!!! DH doesn't want names that start with the same letter, but I do. Who knows what we'll end up with.....

We've finally decided on Oliver Miles and Charlotte Sinead. Oliver and Charlotte just because we like them and Miles is because dh is a runs marathons and Sinead is because we're irish and it's gaelic for Janet which is my mother's name.

Shortly after we found out that we were having two, I looked at lists of twin names. The ONLY ones I liked were Reese and Riley and the second I saw them, I told DH that was it...he had no choice. I can't believe how easy it's been, because Andrew and Blake took forever to come up with!

So, it'll be Reese David, who is named after DH's uncle (the father of twin girls, incidentally) who had a really big influence on him growing up. And, Riley Robert, after my grandfather (his wife, my grandma, was a twin too). It was totally coincidental, but the twin connection is kinda cool to us.

Picking names is so hard! We decided early about the boy -- Julian Peter (Peter is a family name on DH's side), but the girl's name was harder -- mostly because we couldn't agree on much! WE finally decided to go with Sara Katherine. Sara is a classic, not treandy, and will never go out of style, and Katherine is my sister's name. Personally, I prefer twins names that don't sound too much alike...

We argued...I mean discussed named the whole pregnancy. We had a list of boy names and a list of girl names but we wanted them to somehow "go" together. We did not find out what we were having...this may have contributed to the problem  We had the babies on a Monday and did not name them until Thursday. My three year old referred to them as the "the girl" and "the boy" for about a month! :lol

Our final list of names were:
    Andrew and Alayna
Maxwell and Morgan (I liked Megan..Dh didn't but now he does  )
    Tyler and Lyndsey

We ended up with Andrew and Alayna. They go by Drew and Laney and I LOVE it!!! It was worth the wait!
    Good Luck!

we had a tough time with naming our girls!! we both agreed on Addison Emily but could not agree on the other name until 2 hours before we brought her home!! Travis went to the nurses desk got a name book and we considered several names but kept coming back to Ava - when Travis read that Ava means delicate little bird we knew - that is just what she is!!
and we just loved Ava Grace so we went with it!!!!

Travis wanted to name her Oakley !

I have had lists going ever since I can remember of baby names! Before we even knew we were having twins we agreed on two boy names, and two girl names, which seems ironic. We thought it would be good to have a back up name that we both liked, in case the baby didn't look like the original name we chose. We thought for sure we were having a baby boy and were going to name him Adam Reed but at 19wks I had my first u/s and we were shocked to find two girlies in there. So we ended up using both of our girl names. Brenna Darlene (my mom's middle name is Darlene) and Brooke Elizabeth (my MIL middle name is Elizabeth). It worked out quite nicely, and we are still very happy with the names:)

I had 3 girl names picked out and 2 boy names. Well my husband had one boy name and I had the other. I had girl names even though I knew we were having boys because that is what is running in my family. So are boy names are Chase Alexander (Husband picked out - Alexander is in his family) and mine is Spencer William (William is both our of fathers name). I heard the name Spencer and fell in love with it.

For my other son what we did is had a list of names and everyday if we didn't like it we would cross it off. We named our other son Logan and that wasn't on the list.

My dh and I are in constant negotiations when it comes to names. Originally we had agreed on Soren Carlton and Anson Banister but dh now worries that Soren and Anson sound too matchy matchy. Dh thinks there should be more meaning to a name and I argue that the middle names have meaning (Carlton is my dad's middle name and Banister is my FIL's middle name). I also think there is nothing wrong with choosing a name simply because you LIKE it. Other names I like: Keane, Will, Finn, Bentham, and Jonah.

We don't know the sex of our babies yet but we do have two boys names picked out:
    Matthew Joseph and Luke Robert
Girls names are still up in the air we did decide on Sophia Madeline (my husband hates the name Sophia, he says it reminds him of the "Golden Girls", so he said he would call her Sophie) and if there is a second girl hanging around in the womb she might be called Elizabeth, Emily, Amelia or Katherine...we have not decided that yet. I like Lucia as well, but that might push the husband over the edge!

Well, it took us a while but we finally did it....kind of. We're having a boy and a girl. The girl name was easy to agree on the boy name took some debating. But here are the final names.

    McKenna Grace for the girl
Declan (deck-lan) Connor We're actually having a problem with the middle name here. it could end up Connor, Michael or Christopher. But the first name is going to be Declan.

Anybody have a preference our boy's middle name???
