I'm curious- what do you miss most about being nonpregnant? Or- what are you looking forward to doing once the babies are out?

For me, it's chocolate chip cookie dough. I wouldn't eat it when pregnant b/c of salmonella.

Oh man, can I weigh in even though it's been over a year since I was pregnant??

I missed Sam Adams Cream Stout. I used to dream about it. And my first beer post-babies was everything I remembered and more... Mm.

I gotta chime in too, even though my baby is out now. It was a Bahama Mama. I rarely drink but the idea of one and how good it was... I was ready for one by the time he got here too :wine:

I seriously can't wait to be able to exercise again, roll over in bed without pain, and eat without heartburn.

I really miss my small exercise routine. It has been "out the window" since I was about 20 weeks or so. I can barely move now. I canNOT wait to be able to move without pain. (and eat without pain).

Running! I enjoy walking, but it's just not the same. It will also be nice to not have to be so conscious of what I'm eating: is this steak too pink? Is this egg cooked enough? I thought I'd miss wine a lot more than I do, but I'm sure I'll want a glass once the babies are here.

Great post! Can't wait to read more responses!

I am looking forward to kissing this baby's sweet toothless little mouth and being able to see what he is doing. We did a FET and he had been frozen for 4 years I think that is just amazing.

Oh and the part I miss about being non pregnant is I want to go to Worlds of Fun with my older kids and be able to ride the rides with them and walk around without feeling like I am being stabbed in the vaginal area.

I think the things i miss most are being able to go shopping. I can't walk around but for five to ten minutes before i start feelin like i need to sit down or i will faint. I miss being able to roll over in bed with out it being painfull. I miss being able to actually bend over to get something with out it hurting. I miss being able to stay up through out the day with out needing a nap lol. lets see. what else do i miss.....lol.....how about things i enjoy about being pregnant though. Like i love laying here and feeling both of the babies move at the same time. I enjoy making my husband do things for me because im pregnant lol. I also enjoy most of my doctors appointments except those that i have to give blood im not so fond of those =)

I am really looking forward to eating junk food, chocolate, sweets whenever I want and regular Coke. I am not supposed to be eating it now even though I have some sometimes. It'll be nice to have an alcoholic beverage too! I am also looking forward to getting rid of my maternity clothes! This is my last pregnancy so I do want to enjoy being pregnant too. Even though at the time it feels like a long time it is really so short.I love to feel the baby kick and can't wait for the girls' reactions when they can feel it too.

Toward the end of my pregnancy I used to have dreams (literally) about just being able to walk easily. I try to remember that when I'm feeling put-upon these days -- that there was a time when all I wanted was to be able to walk more than 20 feet without having to sit down.

Hmm, theres a long list lol

Rolling over in bed without pain

Sitting on the couch in a comfortable position

    Bending over

    No more big belly

No swelling in feet and hands

Being able to eat without the feeling of exploding

    Having drinks with friends

    Laying on my stomach

    Wearing regular clothes

I am looking forward to not being in almost constant pain and discomfort, not throwing up dinner every night, getting up out of bed or off a chair without it feeling like a ton of effort, sitting on the floor with my kids, holding my older kids and tickling them... the list goes on and on!

I love every freakin' moment of this pregnancy and am SO thankful for this gift! There's one thing I really can't wait to do though - sleep on my back or belly!! I know it sounds crazy, but I don't miss any foods, drinks, outings, or anything else as much as I miss sleeping on my back or belly. I dream about it.

I miss energy, more than a little bit of coffee, and wine!
As this pregnancy goes on, I will miss my body and being able to move around easily!

I missed beer and being able to roll over in bed, sit normally, sit on the floor, just moving normally in general.

I missed sleeping on my belly the most! It took me about 4 months after the girls were born to get used to sleeping on my belly again and it is glorious :) I missed exercising hard and not having heartburn!
