What are you doing regarding the stroller issue?

My twins, b/g, will be 2.5 tomorrow actually. They have been walking instead of riding for a few months now. It does make it hectic at times, but other times it is very convenient. I actually sold our double stroller shortly after they started walking, instead of riding, because I knew there was no turning back. My original thought was to get a sit and stand so that if I needed to put one in to ride I could. The more I thought about it I think I talked myself out of it thinking if they both wanted to ride that would be an issue. We don't need to add issues willingly. I then thought about a single snap and go but then I got to comparing prices and if we buy an infant seat, which we need to because we sold ours as a set with the stroller, and a snap and go and then another stroller when the baby is out of the infant seat we will most likely be spending more money. Unless we go with an umbrella/light weight stroller. I didn't really think it would be that hard. I have looked at some of the travel systems, but to be honest I really wanted something good, but light. I pushed the duo glider long enough. It was a great stroller though! Anyway, share you thoughts and ideas and we will compare notes. THANKS

Ideallly, here is what we are going to do. We still have our duoglider...hate the thing, but it does come in handy. I plan on using a carrier for the baby for awhile, so the twins can either ride in the stroller...or the baby in the stroller, one twin can ride, one can walk, etc. We are also getting a single stroller from a friend. So, if we are out and about, the twins can walk and we can just bring the single for the baby. We aren't getting anything new at this point...but you know how strollers go...I might change my mind :)

I don't trust my boys to walk by themselves when we go out. So, in my stroller collection (I have too many so I'll just talk about the ones I use most often) I have the DuoGlider and I bought a new Graco Metrolite to use for the new baby, so when DH and I go out each of us can push one. I have my infant seats from the twins so that will snap into either stroller. For when I'm by myself (which is most often) I bought a used PP Triplette off Craigslist. Sure, it's huge, but it works! I can snugly fit the infant seat into the rear seat of the trip and the boys can sit in the front two. Craigslist has been the best resource for me. I also have a Combi Twin Savvy (SBS) and a double jogger bought off Craigslist.

I am thinking about the sit and stand. This way if one of the bigs is acting up I can strap them in. And I would also have extra storage if they aren't riding.

We have a SBS but when the new baby comes I think we are going to get the sit and stand. I actually saw a women have three kids on that thing one day. My kiddos aren't old enough to walk all the time, but they are wanting to more and more. I also plan on using my baby Bjorn for a while.

I honestly do not trust Peyton to walk. She is a very strong willed child, and there is no way I could have her walk besides a stroller (not at this point anyway!). I am going to see what options are available as far as strollers, but not sure to be honest.

My girls really don't ride in a stroler anymore so I bought the matching graco carseat and stroller. I love it. I also bought a single snap and go and don't really like it. It doesn't have cup holders, the storage basket underneath is very hard (almost impossible) to get to with the car seat in, and it doesnt have the extra carseat cover the graco has to keep the baby totally covered up. I took the snap n go out for halloween when it was raining and it was very hard to keep the carseat completely covered. I then later discovered the graco has an attached cover that cover up the bottom of the infant seat. I also like the cup holders and easy to get to storage.

I thought about a sit and stand but agree with the poster who said they don't want it to be a fight over who will ride. Right now my girls will walk when I'm alone and if my husband is with me and we go to the zoo or something, they will ride in their wagon or our SBS and the baby will ride in the single.

I probably would use the carrier if the baby was awake and i needed to put the girls in the stroller, however it kills me to wake up a sleeping baby to put in the Bjorn or sling.

    HTH.
