what are/were your fav toys

We're going thru a bit of a rough patch between teething, wanting to do more than they can, and I think just being bored with the one exersaucer we have and sitting on the floor playing with the teething toys that we have and I think I need some new activities/toys etc...

Anyone have any toy recocmendations that your kids just LOVED around that age.

DS can get up on all 4's but no crawling yet and DD can stand and hold onto things (but can't pull herself up yet).

What about an activity table with all sorts of fun things.

 

The fisher price laugh and learn table was a hit at that age. Until they were crawling we took the legs off and sat the top on the floor. Once they were crawling we put the legs back on to encourage pulling up.

We also loved the roll around balls and still do!

Have fun, in no time at all they will be everywhere!

 

Balls were a HUGE hit at that age, along with the Fisher Price Laugh & Learn Table. We also have a Fisher Price Gumball Machine toy that takes the "Roll Arounds" balls & they've ALWAYS loved that. Really, anything that lit up or made noise....

 

my girls are afraid of our roll around ball lol especially ivana... she scoots backwards away from it every time it starts moving :lol:

 

my girls love their laugh n learn house. Actually--my four year old loves it too

 

It's funny because at their age my girls loved playing with tupperware containers along with all their usual toys and they still do. So if you aren't wanting to go out and buy something, try it and see if they are interested. Small metal pans on the tile are also a big hit, I think it's because they like the noise. I may sound like a hick, but they seem to be fascinated with things that aren't really "toys." I just make sure to give them things that are safe to play with. They also liked balls and colorful megablocks.

 

LeapFrog Music Table!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even I like playing with it! If they are sitting you can prop it up on two legs so it is leaning ... if they are pulling up ... all four legs makes for a great thing to pull up on!!
