So now that our girls are drinking whole milk I was wondering what are the 'rules' as far as putting it back in the fridge, etc. We were pretty strict with formula (using within an hour, not reusing/reheating what they didn't eat...) so I don't want to do something to get them sick or anything. So far, they usually drink all that we give them, or close to it. But if you warm up milk is it ok to put it back in the fridge for later? We're trying to get them drink it cold but it's going pretty slowly... Also, how long can it be out before you need to toss it? I was thinking an hour tops, just like formula but I'm not sure. Any input? Thanks!!

Debbie, wish I could help. My kids have never drank milk except in their cereal.
    good question though.

Yea, I've tried googling it and can't find anything except breastmilk storage guides... lol. Everything just says what temp the fridge should be set on.

Thanks Allison, that was very helpful. I guess I was typing the wrong thing into google? :search:
2 hours at room temp; an unfinished sippy may be put back in the fridge and used within 24 hours.
That's what I wanted to know, thanks for helping out my not so savvy search skills...
