My youngest just ran up to me (he's 3.5) and wailed, "The cat has BONES!" then ran off crying. I tracked him down to figure out the problem and apparently she's not a stuffed animal.

 I think the most dramatic thing is my DS dissolving into a heap of tears because the cat did not want him to pet her.

Hoo boy. Cue the drama llama.

There was the time that we were watching a Winnie the Pooh cartoon on Youtube. (Pooh bear is a local hero, and both kids have a stuffed Pooh bear as their lovey.) In one scene he was holding a jar of honey. Cut to the next scene: he was not holding the jar anymore. They both FLIPPED OUT and were crying and screaming, "Pooh bear get the jar! Pooh bear get the jar!!!!" They weren't happy until I went back and paused it on the scene where he was holding the jar.

And lately, Andrew has been my happy mellow Zen boy, so Ivy's doing more than enough drama for two. Lately she's been throwing fits if someone just looks at her at the wrong moment. "Don't want you to look at Ivy! STOP SEEING ME!!!" (Btw, it's not as if she's doing anything that she doesn't want someone to see. Usually she's just playing or reading.)

I accidently bought a pack of the boys pull-ups. I didn't think anything of it until I went to put it on Amelia, who screamed "no blue panties! I only wear pink panties!"

I can't get her to wear them. She's 2 years old and such a stubborn streak!

Not bad drama, but OMG cute!!

Going down to the car this morning, the moon was out. Alice says to me, "Look, moon!"

    "Yes that's the moon."

    "I wanna go to moon."

"I can't drive you to the moon, but when you're a grownup, you can be an astronaut, and fly to the moon."

    "Yeah, I wanna be astronaut."

    Royce pipes in: "Rocket ship"

Alice goes, "Yes Royce, I ride in rocket ship"

My heart is all a twitter today with that exchange. She's not even 3 and already wants to be an astronaut!!

Awww- these are cracking me up!

Yesterday the girls were sitting on the potty and Meara was giving me a hard time about it (she just wanted to go play). So Ana says to her "Mewa don't you want to be a big girl? Don't you want to have POTTY POWER?!" (with hands raised just like on the DVD). Meara just looked at her and rolled her eyes. Then I said "Ya know, E (their friend who is also 3) is also learning how to use the potty right now." Ana looks at me and says "Wow. I hadn't thought of that before."

BTW, they both peed and then started singing "I can do it myself. I have POTTY POWER!"

    You go Alice!!!

DS's thing lately is to say "I can't" whatever. He was crying in bed the other day and DD told him to stop and he said "I can't stop crying. I can't." in the most pathetic voice. It was hilarious.
