DITTO on the Cozy Coupes. We got them last year and my girls STILL love them! Another fave was a little pop-up tent that looks like a house that was like less than $20 at Target...I think they are on sale right now.

 

Ditto the ride on toys, another big hit for us was/is the wagon. They have a lot of fun riding in it, nice alternative to the stroller.

 

The L&L House I bought a little before their 1st b-day at a consignment shop for $20, and it is still going strong! The wagon has been a big hit, although with our hilly yard, my legs are getting a real workout pulling them around.
Ride on toys are great, push toys too. They are also just now really understanding how to do the shape sorters and put the stacking rings on in order.

Maybe some things for a little later on like crayons and paper, sidewalk chalk, stuff like that. HTH!

 

I know many have mixed feelings on the backpack harnesses, but we love them. It gives them so much freedom! We have 2 kinds. Here is one. Here is the other. They really like the first one, but the 2nd one is nice because it allows you to have your own hands free. However, we haven't actually tried it yet.
