What are names you've considered?

Ok, I know it's early, but DH and I have to start now to pick out names for this new baby(s) that's on it's way. With the twins , it wasn't finalized until 33 weeks and they were born at 34 weeks. So, we really need to start now.

So, please list any boy and girl names that you considered when you were/are pregnant. Also, if you've already had your kid(s)...what names did you end up picking?

I love the name Alivia Grace for a girl and the name Logan Michael for a boy. However, with already have a Reagan and a Morgan, we thought Logan would be a little too cliche. We joke that our license plate could be "3GANS"...LOL!

So, I would like to start a "list" of names that we like, I just don't know where to start adn you ladies have such great ideas on here!

 

My favorite girl names are Amelia, Lily, Sarah, Sydney, Charlotte, and Chloe. DH likes Adalie and Lucy.

I'm 24 weeks and we haven't made a decision yet.

For boys DH is crazy about Hunter....I like Elliott, Logan, and Landon.

 

My children are Lucas Bradley and Lynae Claire. Other names considered were:

Reed
Riley

Savannah Kelly
Marissa Kelly

 

For boys we like Cole, Connor, Chase and Zack. For girls Kiera, Kamryn, Sydney and Madeleine. I really like Alivia!

 

We named our girls Jordan Kathryn and Jacelyn Brielle.

We considered:

Aleksa
Skylar

thanks goodness they were girls because we could not agree on any boys names

 

We named ours Addison Emily and Ava Grace

we had a hard time w/ girl names!

but for boys we loved:

Sawyer
Luke
Logan
Chase
Cade

We ended up with a bit of a naming theme, purely by accident. Gavin was one of my favorite names, but DH wasn't sold on it. My other favorite was Wesley. We disagreed so much that I had to make a list of about 50 names that I liked, even if just a tiny bit, to try to find something we could agree upon. I had put Colin in the list (it was so so in my book) and DH saw it and liked it. He agreed to let me have Gavin if he could have Colin. And this was after he'd issued this whole manifesto about none of the boys names we would use ending in AN, EN, IN, or ON. LOL

Girls names we had were Maia Naomi and Zoe Margaret. We also really loved Charlotte, but there was family debate over that - namely two other non-pregnant relatives "claiming" it.

I like Olivia, but not Alivia so much. Grace is beautiful with any name. Logan is nice and I'm partial to Michael because it's Corbin's middle name. Some thoughts....

Anyway... you probably have your favorite boy names you didn't get to use. Mine are: Luke (or Lukas, Lucas or Luca).

For girls: I always knew I'd have a Jade (like I'd always have a Luke -- which actually I did, I had a cat named Luke but I was okay with recycling it). Melissa was another name I like and obviously I wasn't/am not overly concerned with them "going together".

Other favorite names that didn't happen to land on a child: Mia, Maya, Elyse, Oksana, and Asparagus (jk! on that just making sure you are reading)...

I also like, from a pp, Piper.

 

We had Molly, Claire, Kathryn, and Colleen as names for girls.

We had Kevin, Patrick, Thomas and Michael as names for boys. I also love Daniel and Dennis (but our fish is named Dennis and our last begins with "L").

My nephew is Luke and my nieces are Elizabeth and Mary Ellen.

 

Logan is a great name. i love the '3gans' thing haha. I love the names Arianna, Ariarna and Travis.

You crack me up!!! My last name is Connar. So, as some pp mentioned...the name Connor for a boy is out LOL!!! My two for boys (before we knew we were having girls) were either Logan Micheal and Lucas Micheal (DH's middle name is Michael...mine is Marie and we gave that one to Reagan).

I'm kind of fond of Asparagus...lol!!!!

I think we have the same taste. Our boy names are Austin James ( Aj) and Chase Joseph (Cj) and girls Addison Elaine and Avery Janet. The middle names are family names.

Was going to be Jocelyn Regina until 8mo PG I changed it to Savannah Mackenzie
would have been Garrett Keith if boy

baby #2
always going to be Sydney for girl but stuck on middle name,maybe Paige but ended up Sydney Morgan. Same name as #1 for boy.

baby #3
Ian Craig for boy,changed to Garrett Hayden 1/2 way through PG. Would have been Madison Riley or Avery Ryann if girl.
Baby #4
Ethan Hunter,ended up being Ethan Craig(my maiden name) in honor of my family even though I liked the othe name better. Would have been Kalista Riley if girl(even though we didn't start picking out names til after the BIG u/s so never really considered girl names after that since we were having a boy).

Baby #5 and #6 (TWINS!)!

Connor Isaiah and Chloe Isabella
Connor Jacob and Chloe Jordynn
ended up being Connor Jacob and Chloe Reece

Names we considered:
Jillian and Lillian but I hate Jill as a nn
Jazzlyn and Jocelyn

Audrie and Aubrie

Boys were:
Rowdy and Ryder

 

We've changed our minds again...lol

Our girls names would now be :Braelynne and Breslynne! I think they're both different, and sound cute together!
