I just had my baby shower this weekend and I got everything organized and put away. I still have SO much to do though! By this time what has everyone done to prepare for their new arrivals?

I will be 30 weeks this Friday and I JUST got the girls closet organized on Sunday. We have gotten TONS of hand-me downs and I had just piled them all in the closet, it was a mess. I got it all organized where the newborn stuff is out and ready to use and the rest is boxed according to size and season. Our DS is only 13 months old so we didn't have a ton of things to get done. Bouncers, pack-n-plays, blankets, swings, etc, are all in the basement ready to just haul back up and use when the girls arrive.
It is weird because I feel totally unprepared for the girls arrival, yet when I think about it, there isn't much more I need to do. I DO need to get my hospital bag packed though....

I still have so much to get done, but also am a few weeks behind you ladies. For the most part the furniture is out but everything else is piled into the twins' room. Supposedly my baby shower will be beginning of june, so i've been kinda waiting for that before really doing too much. Things will find their places eventually.

My MIL came into town this week so we just started working on the nursery. Our cribs are up with the bedding. Yesterday and today I washed all the clothes that we have, they're ready to be put away. We have our changing table and dresser ready to be picked up this weekend.

I'm realizing that I need more new born sized clothes. Everything that I have starts at 0-3 months and I realize the twins will swim in those.

Next week I plan on packing my bag and meeting with my photographer. Baby steps (no pun intented).

We were planning on getting a lot of things dones after the new carpet was installed. Unfortunately, over the last 2 weeks, I've had low hemoglobin and the thought of walking downstairs makes me tired. Coupled with a few too many BH contractions, work and a three year old, I'm not sure how our stacks of baby stuff are going to be put away. lol
