We dropped out last bottle 2 weeks before the girls 1st birthday. We were also completely on table foods at that time..

I would say after 2, they had just one evening bottle until 2 1/2 I think. We ocassionally used babyfood also for lunch and stuff until around 2 I knew at least they were getting something into them, as at that age most of the fingers foods used to end up on the floor We actually still have the babyfood prunes, the girls love them for dessert and don't know they are "healthy" haha..
Started transition off bottles a week after turned one, as per ped's recommendation. Took two weeks to transition so we'll say just shy of 13 months we were off the bottles. Off baby food by 11 months...as in eating mostly table food and not any jar stuff.
Bottle free at 22 months. My boys will still eat baby food fruit but they were on mostly table foods by about 13 months
Totally bottle free, about 14 months. We were down to just the bedtime bottle at 13 months. Mostly on table food by ~18 months, though we occasionally gave them (especially Sarah) a jar of green veggies, or mixed fruit baby food in with her yogurt. The frequency of this declined a lot after 18 months and I don't think we've done it at all since 24 months.
Bottle free - 12.5 months (at 11 months we were at 2 bottles, 12 months just the bedtime) Totally using regular food - 10 months, with the exception of baby oatmeal. We continued to use that until maybe 2 months ago. We'd mix it into their Yo Baby yogurt to make it thicker and less messy to eat. Now they've discovered the natural flavor/color Gogurt at Costco and love it...yeah! Cheaper and thick enough on its own.
1. Were you totally bottle free? about 16 months. Took longer because we tackled the sleep issue first. 2. Totally using regular food - no baby food -12-14 months .Luckily they were good with the transitions. And were using spoons at 14 months as well.
1. Totally bottle free at age 15 months (12 month daytime bottles, 15 months gave up bedtime bottle). 2. On all regular food, no baby food- 12.5 months.
We went bottle-free on their first birthday and were completely on table foods a few weeks before their birthday
One gave the bottle up the week before her first birthday; the other about a week after. We stopped baby food around 10-11 months.
right around 13 months on both items...they would have given up baby food early but it was just so easy sometimes!
1. Were you totally bottle free? My dd was off the bottle at 12 months. My ds was off the bottle at 20 months. 2. Totally using regular food - no baby food? We were very late with transitioning because my ds had such a sensitive gag reflex and had some food issues which I believe were caused by his reflux from this first year. They were on only table food by 17 months.
1. Never used bottles 2. No baby food at all after 10 months; not because I have a problem with it but because they wanted nothing to do with mush after they'd had texture. DH had just bought two huge boxes of baby cereal (because it was on sale) when they began the boycott
My boys didn't give up the bottle till around 18mos. They were down to 2 bottles(am and pm) but still loved that night time bottle. We sort of switched cold turkey by accident. We do still give a sippy fo milk before bedtime b/c it's part of the bedtime routine. They get it about 30 minutes before bedtime and can drink it anytime before bed while playing, watching tv, reading books, etc. I think we gave up baby food around 12 mos or a little before.
At 15 months, We are basically on all table foods. Purees are my back up if we are having a bad food day or I am being lazy. We still have one bottle at night but am working on cutting that out over the next month or so. We will see how it goes.
We just became completely bottle free at 17 months. We still give them Gerber veggies once a day so that I at least know that they get veggies at one meal. They will only eat "table food" veggies once in awhile, but I keep trying!
1-very few bottles here, but none after 10 months 2-still occasionally have them feed themselves jarred veggies, mainly because dd will NOT eat her "real" veggies!

Mine were completely off the bottle by about 14 months. It took a while to drop that last night time bottle. <_< Are you ready for this? Mine still eat green veggies from a jar. It is the only way they will eat them. They were completely on to table food, except for the veggies, at about a year.

Hey Kristi - I don't feel so bad now!!! An I just realized that our twins are almost exactly the same age! We must have been doing our IVF cycles around the same time! *Sorry to hijack*
1. Were you totally bottle free? Only sippies during the day for about a month now. They do still have a small bottle of water in their beds. I'm hoping to have that gone within a month. They're down to 2 oz of water in those bottles. Eventually they'll be empty and then I'll take them away. 2. Totally using regular food - no baby food? Just after a year, we stopped buying baby food. Giving them baby food was more a convenience thing for us. They've always preferred table food.
I had kids off baby food at 9 months (they've all always loved easily eatable table food). The bottles were gone at 15 months. There has been such a huge variety in answers that I think you're safe doing almost anything you want!
