    Hey Gals,

What age did you give your little ones pillows?

My girls are 28 months (almost) and no pillows yet. They have never asked for them and they sleep great, so I'm not messing with a good thing. ;)

We gave them pillows when they switched to beds, at around 2 years, 2 mos.

First time mom here...my kids are 27 months and I'm just starting to let them sleep with a small blanket. No pillows yet. I'm curious to see what responses you get.

DS1 got a pillow when we moved him from his crib to bed at 27 months. Plan on doing the same with the twins.

My boys started stealing several small pillows off my bed when they were between 2 and 2 1/2. I don't remember the pillows in the crib, so it must have been about the time they switched to their big boy beds. The pillows are half the size of normal bed pillows. I re-covered them with material that has dump trucks and back hoes on it. They love them and can't sleep without them.

Around 21 months, I bought them at Mr. Bobbles Blankets.

The AAP recommends pillow after the age of two. I haven't given my girls pillows yet, but I've started to shop around though.

Right around two we gave them pillows and blankets. We really didn't do either before 2.

We got these small square light blue pillows from IKEA- they are 99 cents or 1.99, I can't remember which. They are washable which is great, too, and we have a few extras for replacement when needed.

My girls are 19 mos and have been sleeping with a pillow for about 2 months now. They are regular size pillows but super flat. They fit the whole width of the crib. We started using them when they had a stuffy nose to elevate and they just stayed there.

My kids get pillows when they move out of the crib. It's part of the wow factor of moving up. Kayci is still in her crib, so she still doesn't have a pillow...although she uses her stuffed lamb under her head.

I posted a similar question a while back when one of my DD's started asking for a pillow and since they are in cribs still I was concerned. Well I got great responses of people using pillows so I got toddler pillows for their cribs and they love them. They have had them for a couple of months now.

Mine have had them since about 20 months and LOVE them- they do use them. I have a DD with reflux so we were encouraged to try a pillow...since one had a pillow the other wanted one too! We bought travel pillows and my mom sewed cute covers for them.

Now at 29 months they have 2 blankets (one crochets one that has a ton of holes in it as part of the pattern), a few stuffed animals, books, and there is barely room for them!

Mine got pillows when they switched to regular twins beds at 26-27 months. However now they just turned 3 and still often sleep in the bed like it's the crib...sometimes they sleep the opposite direction or end up perpendicular.

We gave the girls pillows about a month ago. They don't really use.

A friend of my mom's sewed them the cutest pillow case covers. So we bought them pillows for the covers. I think it was around 2 - 2.5 years.
