I seperate my two for naps and it had helped. My DD was a short napper and fussy so it has helped them both to fall asleep. I do still keep them together at night and they are doing fine, however she just learned to roll on her stomach. They are both starting to move around the crib more.

Im just wondering if anyone still has them sleeping together and what age did you seperate and why.......

I seperated my two at 3 months. I did it because they were such different sleepers. My son was a noisy sleeper and my dd was a very light sleeper, and it wasn't worth it having her get up every time he made a peep. ;)

    Good luck!!

We separated them as soon as they started moving around. They started scooting themselves up and touching the crib, and I was afraid they wouldn't be able to breath.

I separated my two at 6 weeks as DS was always waking DD. At 3 months, I put them back together again but just for nights. They still sleep together (in separate cots) at nights but separately during the day.

I put my two in separate cribs at 6 months, because they were rolling on each other, keeping each other awake. They still share a room.

As far as separated, are you talking about separating them from the same room or crib?

I'm looking in to separating them from their room right now. They've been good up until lately. One will sleep through the night, while the other likes to eat at night. For a couple of days now, they both were sleeping through the night. I thought I had a break, but one wanted his food again in the middle of the night. Because I had Kiefer in there who normally sleeps well through the night, I had to give him his food. He was chattering so loudly though, it woke Kiefer up and he wanted his food. I decided to put Kiefer back in my room for the rest of the night cause Cameron needed to CIO a bit. He'll have to do that again. He does not need his food and nor does Kiefer. I hate doing it, but it works. I decided for now though, Kiefer is going in to a separate room even from us. Our dogs really need that time alone with us and having a baby in our room really freaks out one of my dogs. She just wants her quiet time with us and she deserves it. She doesn't have the same time with us as she used to before the babies arrived.

Meanwhile, they never slept in the same crib together. I was worried about SIDS and I just found it easier for me to deal with. I was afraid they'd wake each other up and I didn't want to have to make them have to get used to not being with each other. They did great that way.

We separated them at 6 months. They were getting too big to share a crib. Our rooms are not big enough for them to share, so they were also in their own rooms at that time.

We separated them at 2.5 months because they were rolling onto each other and it made me nervous, they still share a room with their cribs right next to each other and will for as long as they want too.
