What age did they skip a night feeding?

Have 7 week old twins. They came at 36w3d and now weigh roughly 8 and 9 pounds. I am dying to at least have them sleep thru ONE feeding at night. Am I crazy?

Does anyone else almost dread being home alone with their twins? I think I've been spoiled with help and my husband having a long paternity leave. I really don't look forward to doing it alone!!! It's the feedings that intimidate me, and the fact that they just fuss a lot and want to be held. Ugh! So much harder than I imagined!

Lookin for advice in the sleeping department! Just wondering what to maybe expect in the next few weeks and is there anything I can do to help things move along? Or is it just strictly a waiting game? How much do 2 month olds typically eat? Right now they are doing 4oz pretty consistently.

I am still waiting for my girls to sleep through one of their feedings! They are still getting up twice a night. I think I am getting less sleep now then I did in college!

My babies both dropped a night feeding around 7 weeks old, they were born at 34wks 3days. Typically they were taking 4 ozs at that age and still are......someimes, usually first feeding of the day they take an ounce or two more, they started STTN around the 2mth mark.

No advice here. Sounds like you all are lucky. My boys ate every 1.5-2 hours around the clock until 3 1/2 months!!!! When my hubby went back to work I felt like my life was that movie groundhogs day.

Gosh, my babies slept straight through the night for the first time at 7 weeks old (8pm-8am). Before that they were going to bed at 8pm and taking one feeding at around 5am, then back to bed. I made them drop that 5am feeding at 7 weeks. They dropped it in one night. They were born at 36w0d and weighed about 9lbs at 7 weeks. They never looked back and have not woken me a night since. I was making them take 5-6oz feedings every 4 hours during the day. You're lucky to have hubby home for so long! I was on my own at 5 days PP, coming off a c-section! LOL the thing that I just remembered was, they're twins and they have to learn to wait. When I was feeding one and the other was crying for food I just toned it out. It became white noise to me real quick. She was on the other side of the room, I could see her, I knew she was ticked off but ok and that was ok with me. I began tandem feeding at around 8 weeks (propped them both on a big pillow and fed) and that helped decrease the crying a lot! You can only do your best, they will get over it if you can't be 10 places at once. Hang in there :)

Mine have just started to sttn. They were still up for a 11pm and 2/3 am feeding at 3 months.....but at 3.5 months they dropped the 11pm feeding, and at 4 months they dropped the 2/3am feeding. They now goto bed between 7:30-8:30 and are up between 4:30 and 6am for their morning feeding then usually back to bed for an hour or two. Hang in there....I think we all know its rough.

Mine stopped the 2am feeding between 7 and 8 weeks. I started by cutting the amount in their bottle by 1/2 oz, every 2-3 nights. By the time I got down to 2 oz--started at 4 oz. I went to get one ready to feed, and he fell back asleep and never woke again til morning. 2 days later the other one was doing the same. Once they stopped that feeding, we did move from 4 oz bottles, up to 6 oz. bottles. At 3 months we stopped waking them for the 11pm bottle, and they slept from 7-to 7or 8am. At that point we increased the bottles to 8 oz. per feeding.

Wow, that is so nice. I would have killed for just a night of that.
