what a week......

My DH left for his new job last Saturday, a full year no DH, and of course he didn't set his alarm so we ended up flying to the airport at 4 in the morning praying we would make his flight. What a great way to spend valentines day. He left a ton of stuff half done or not even started at all which is so frustrating.
The babies have been fighting off a horrible cold that they got from my nephew who lives with us who got it from kissing his sick girlfriend ....hormones plus teenage boy equal IDIOT!
Then Friday I came home and found my mom's horse, that she has had since birth, dead in the field. It was my worst nightmare come true. The whole time I have had her here I have worried that something would happen to her while I had her. She was old and it looks like she just laid down, went to sleep and didn't wake up but I still feel awful. I was completely blind sided by it.
So my DH is on his way to Afghanistan and I am wondering what else is going to happen. I am hoping the worst is over but the way things have been going so far.....
