I came home and DH told me that the girls had woken up from their nap but he hadn't gotten them yet....so he heads up while I'm getting my stuff in order...and I hear him calling for me....I go upstairs and both girls have their pants and diapers off...are holding poop and are crying...
they had poop ALL over them, their cribs, sheets, toys and the floor!!!!!

I need help..I started using duct tape...but Ashley has figured out that she can pull her diaper up and down WITH duct tape on it. Tonight I put them with their diaper backwards, taped and with onesies and pants...hopefully that will hold them until dh gets them up in the morning....otherwise I'm thinking of just strapping them to the potty and hoping for the best....this is driving me crazy!

Oh No! It sounds like you've covered all your bases for tonight (no pun intended ;) ) I hope it works out for you!

I use zippered pj's on backwards (just twist the feet around) for night & toddler halo sleep sacks, also backwards for naps.

Welcome to my world. It's a riot!

Sleepsacks have been working for us for several weeks. I've caught Trent working on the zipper but he hasn't gotten it open yet (the upside down thing is very good). When he eventually gets it, I'll put the zipper in the back.

Halo offers a 2 for 1 twin discount if you call and ask for it.

I always kept oldest in a onesie. I think Gerber makes them up to 24 months. She could never undo the snaps to get at her diapers.

I'm so scared of this that I always but them to bed/nap with pants or a onesies on.

We had this happen last week.... TWICE IN ONE DAY!!! I thought DH was going to lose his mind. I know exactly how you feel. Thanks to a fellow TS'er, I'm ordering the Halo Sleepsacks for Big Kids and will be putting them on backwards. The duct tape seems to be working so far, but DS literally has no hips so he could probably just pull down if he really tried. I also do PJs inside out (this is not working anymore b/c they just slip their arms out). I hope the sleepsacks work!!!!

    Good luck,

    Crystal

This happened to me many time while Dh was deployed and I thought I was going to loose it many times. My girls escaped out of everything, the duct tape, backwards zippers double layers of clothing. I thought for sure they where plotting against me when I wasnt looking. I hope you find something that works, sounds like you have tried everything possible.
