We're THREE!

    Well, I have recovered from a busy weekend, last weekend, with two birthday parties for the kids. We had a family gathering on Sunday night for cake and presents, then we had our 1st ever kids party on Monday! We booked the YMCA for $39 (awesome!) and got 1.5 hours in a room (that was pretty much decorated, we just added our own banner and stuff), and half an hour in the gym for free time! They had lots of trikes, cozy coupes, cars, ect for the kids to ride in, they had a BLAST....it was just free time (I used to coach 3 yr olds gymnastics and I learned that organized, rule-based games go nowhere at that age...structured free time is best!) so lots of running around, laughing, throwing balls...great fun!

    I did a veggie Tales theme this year....which is VERY hard to pull off in Canada, let me tell you!! We had to make just about everything, use red & green and yellow colored things, and have lots of creativity! I was able to go to NY and buy a single pack of VT plates and some VT toys and shirts for b-day gifts. Much cheaper in the US! The kids LOVED it....

    I have posted TONS of pictures and discriptions of what I did and how I made things on our blog.....you have to go, even if it's just to see my AWESOME CUPCAKES!! Seriously....I am so proud of myself!
    Any VT fan will be quite impressed with how we carried out this theme!

    Aww thanks!!! I need to update the blog design soon...brighten it up for spring (if it EVER comes.....sheesh)
