Were the twins the last kids for you?

DH would like to think that we are done, but I think there will be at least one more, but not for at least a year or two.

 

I am done we had a tubal. Kind of sad about it though.

We are done. I had a tubal during my c-section. But we also had a 26 month old at the time too. 3 kids under 3 is all I know I can handle.

The boys were our 3rd and 4th babies. We only planned on having 2 kids!!!! So yeah, these fellows are our last. My family is complete and I am happy.

 

We are done as well we have a nine year old boy and the twins girls...I wasn't planning on having any more after my son..so this was a surprise a "great" surprize but a surprize none the less..three kids is alot now a days well atleast for me anyways..I woulda had a tubal but I ended up having them natural so the hubby's getting snipped next month...but I'm having mixed feelings about it somedays I'm like "I'd like to be pregnant once more"..then other days I'm like "if my hubby doesn't go get snipped NOW I'm snipping him myself" :rotflmbo:

These two are probaby our first and last BUT I can't help hoping that there will be another These two are the result of our 2nd IVF after TTC for 5 years so I doubt it would ever happen naturally and there's definately no more fertility treatments in our future.

 

We definately want a couple more. We originally wanted 4 and I think we will still go for that. Maybe if I am lucky I will get twins again and get it all done in 2 pregnancies!

 

I would love to have 2 more (preferably twins) but DH has put his foot down, he has 2 boys from his first marriage and thinks 4 is enough. I think I could work on him to agree, I just hate the thought that I won't have any more tiny babies to hold!

While I was pregnant and in the first few months after the babies were born, I thought for sure this was it. But now we don't rule out having a third at all. If we can afford to, that is.

 

First and last! Didn't think I was going to be given ANY - Gave myself until age 40 and then told myself I'd give up on the dream. Well - 39 and 3/4 - I got pregnant with twins!! Had a tubal after c-section too. Hard decision as I didn't know if I'd be completely in love with being a Mom etc. - prayed about it - couldn't see me having another baby any time before the girls were 2 - which puts me at 42 - and said 2 will be enough! Happy with my decision - two is plenty!! Totally blessed.

 

I don't blame you. We definitely wanted 3 or 4 - kept debating. God made that decision for us with twins. However, I now know we would have definitelyhave had 4 since I still get sad every time the twins outgrow something - they are only 2 months old!!!!! My DH says we can have more but I think we are finished . I love having 4 kids!!!!

 

Yep! I have three now and I'll be 34 in October. I'm done.......

 

Yep, we are done! 3 kids is good for us.

 

4 pregnancies is enough for me. I can't handle another. DH was snipped 3 weeks after our girls were delivered. It makes me kind of sad that we won't have any more kids, but I know I physically couldn't handle another pregnancy. We have five kiddies now. We both have talked about adoption in the far future, if we get the baby urges again. I love babies and kiddies, and would have a giant family if the cards played out.

 

Before getting pg, I thought 2 would be a good number, but now having 2 at once, I would love to have more. Another set of twins would be great! My 2 now are so much fun, I would do again and again.

 

ours are our last...i got the tubal per hubbies request. :blush: i don't regret the decision but i would have liked to have more even though i have 5 children. 2 from my first marriage and 3 with my hubby. i wanted another boy but the good Lord gave me 3 girls in a row after a 20 year gap for girls in my family. meaning my oldest daughter was the first girl born on my side of the family for 20 years! our twins are a bonus!!! maybe if we are financially able in the future we might adopt a boy later on. only God knows for sure. i love my kids no matter how many i have.

DH could have lived without kids, but we compromised on 1. Then I begged for JUST one more ... and we got 2 instead. The twins are our last, but honestly I won't mind one more! DH would kill me if he heard me say that! Plus my last 2 pgs have been with twins so I would be a little nervous about what the next pg would be - triplets???

 

Nope not the lasts for me. I am due in 2 short weeks!! Wahoo :clapping: I am still not sure if I am done after this one, believe it or not. (Some days I think I am and other days I don't).

 

Another IVF'er here. I would love to see what it's like to have only ONE baby to dote on. DH and I have been talking A LOT about baby number 3 lately. I'm in my last year of nursing school, so we won't try until the summer at the earliest. So, I have some more time to make sure that it's what we want.

I'm thinking no, we're not done.

Yet another IVFer here too. We had to do IVF for both of my pregnancies. We were blessed with our beautiful Kaylee (now almost 4) & our beautiful Maggie & Sophie last March. I would LOVE to be pg again & have another healthy one, but we are done with IVF & we have PCOS & MFI, so I doubt it will happen for us, but...as we all know, miracles do happen. I have 3 beautiful ones here in my home.

 

Done with two! But I am a little bet sad after each milestone is past that I'll never experience it again.

 

The last for us :cray: I would love to have another but DH is firmly against it. I know it isn't practical from a financial/space standpoint but it still makes me sad!!

 

Yup, tubal all done during c/s. No regrets, but if I win a jillion dollars, I might adopt a couple more.

 

Nope we are not done yet. The twins were our first babies and we are currently working on (take that as talking about) #3. DH wanted two and I wanted four so three is our compromise. I am secretely praying for twins again but dont tell DH that.

 

Our first and last biological kids... the pregnancy was terrible, the babies are healthy, so we've decided to count our blessings and stick with 2. Adoption is a definite possibility somewhere down the road, but not right away.

 

I hope to have at least one more, the girls were conceived with IFV also, we have 3 embryos left, and I hope with all my heart that at least one of them will take. If not we are done, because I am not doing the IFV rollercoaster again.
