Were sick....

Well, somehow someone brought home the stomach virus. All three kids are home for 2 days per Dr.s orders. Im kinda happy because it means I have 2 days off work, but it is the weirdest sickness. Diarrhea and thats it! No fever, no change in hunger, a little fussy in the afternoon and thats it? They are still happy and wanna play.
My one vent: we were at the Dr's office and some lady came up and touched the twins..what is with people? Im waiting to see the Dr at 10:30 on a Tuesday so you can assume SOMEONE is probably sick. The lady didnt say anything to me, just grabbed her foot and started cooing at Brooke. I looked at her and said, "Uhhhhh....were sick?!" She just looked at me and walked off. I offended her?!?! Such a strange experience....

Weird, we have the same virus here! Just diarrhea...My boys usually stay at home with my mom while DH and I work, but the week of Labor Day she was on vacation for three days and my boys had to go to daycare. Pretty sure that's where they picked it up, but who knows for sure...Unfortunately, they are just now getting over it. Can't even count the number of diapers we've gone through! I hate changing poopy diapers during the night - Could have been worse, I guess. This was our first time being sick:( Hope your babies recover quickly!

Hope everyone is feeling better soon! I agree, a doctor's office would be one of the LAST places you want someone touching your kids!

Sorry to hear what you are going through. It has been a while since I have had to change poopy diapers at night.

I heard that virus went through our daycare as well. One of the boys got it (but not real bad), but the other had a fever that took 4 days to break. He would eat, but wouldn't sleep unless he was touching someone!!

When we went to the ped to rule out ear infections, it was amazing how many people wanted to touch them. I find myself going back in a corner with the stroller and sitting away from everyone. And these are people with children of their own!! Do they even think?

I hope your kids are feeling better soon!!

D'arrrr, I've changed 5,000 diapers in th' past few days! The next lad who comes up t' me with a sogbottom will be getting laid out by me belaying pin! Or kissed an' cuddled, they are cute little pirate-spawn!

Hope you guys start to feel better soon! :hug99:

Some people are really just stupid! But if she picked up a lovely stomach virus from touching your kiddos maybe next time she'll think twice about touching a baby in the ped's office!
