We're MOBILE!

I'm officially declaring Conner CRAWLING. FINALLY! He's been watching Aiden crawl for a few weeks now & FINALLY got more consistent with it yesterday. Aiden is into EVERYTHING now, so I can only imagine what my life will be like when Conner learns to pull up & get into everything, too! ACK! And to think of all you mommies who have been dealing with it since like 6-7 mos...wow! I didn't think Conner would EVER crawl. He's been diagnosed with out-toeing, so crawling & pulling up have been really hard for him to master. You should see him crawl to a toy now...he's just so proud of himself.

And so are we. They're getting too big too fast!!!!!

Oh, and another accomplishment, Conner signed "more" yesterday. He's been clapping & confusing the 2 lately, but it was a definite different hand gesture than clapping & it was when he wanted more of mommy's mashed potatoes! YIPPEE! Our first sign!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah for actual crawling! Now, just watch out world! And woohoo for being able to communicate "more". I love being able to talk, at least sort of, with my girls. :yahoo: for milestones!

boo-er, I mean yay!!

 

Yeah, we were starting to think Aiden would be walking before Conner even attempted crawling. He wouldn't even TRY. He'd just put his head down & cry if something was out of his reach. We'd work with him & he'd just flop down & cry. It was never ending fussing & crying. All of a sudden, yesterday afternoon, it was like he decided he was going to do it & voila...a crawler! Aiden took FOREVER to get the hang of it. Weeks of rocking....weeks of scooting backwards....about a week or so of army crawling...and then FINALLY took off. All the while, he was SOOO cranky & now he's SOOO happy (unless we're scolding him for getting into something!).

With 2 mobile...my life is now over .....................

Oh congratulations! I have similar babies over here. Caleb didn't army crawl more than a cnetimeter at a time until 10 months. He's still never gotten on his knees because he has some serious issues with bearing weight in his hands/arms, but we were just so glad he MOVED! Braxton CAN crawl on hands and knees but refuses unless it's on accident. He loooooves his army crawl. That's so cool that he's signing! Brax confuses patty-cake with bye-bye . Good luck keeping up with your little ones from this point on!
