We're looking for more Big Sister volunteers

As many of you have probably seen the announcement at the top of this forum, TS has a fairly new Big Sister Program. We have had wonderful success with the program and we currently have about 45 volunteers and have made about 70 Big/Little Sister matches. If you have been a member of TS for at least 6 months and would be interested in volunteering to be a Big Sister, please send Becky (becky5) a PM (private message).

 

Hi Trish I have never sent a PM on the new site so I cant figure out how to do it. I have almost 7 month old twins and would be interested if that is what you are looking for.

I wanted to! But I didn't meet the original criteria...I think it was your children had to be over 2, or something like that. If the criteria has changed and you only have to be a member for 6 months, I'd love to help.

Yes, if the criteria has changed, I'll be a big sister. I am a little sister now, though I don't think a very good one. I don't need a lot of support (of course, things may change as I loose my two helpers to school on Monday). I do enjoy the occassional contact with another real person, though.

I'd like to, but under technicality I can't b/c I've officially only been a member under this user name for a few mo.s, but I was a member under another user name in 2006 when the girls were born, however unfortunately I forgot my password and though I requested it, it was never emailed to me, so I switched user names. If there's any way around this, let me know via pm

The same thing happened to me - I was NikkiInTexas for a couple years - but couldn't make it work on the new site so I created a new account. PM me if you still need Big Sisters.
