The trip sucked big time! THe kids did all right but it took 5 days with all the stops, not to mention the messed up schedules that has everyone cranky. My grandpa would argue why we didnt need to fill up at a stop because he would want to stop an hour later which would have woken up 3 sleeping kids from their naps . The kids all now officially hate their car seats! They are all sick too All 3 have snot running out of their noses and now every time the boy pees, he screams and says his butt hurts. Im worried he may have a UTI so Im waiting until 9 am to call the new ped that I just set up...hopefully she can get us in.
I miss Kaitlyn, I feel so bad leaving her grave behind.
I think dh realized that he messed up by going to his parents. Apparently his parents came over to see the girls when I was out of town picking up my grandparents...I think he was trying to hide it, I think they are a bunch of jerks so whatever. At this point I dont know what will happen with my marriage, I did warn him that im not moving back to beaufort....there is no discussion about this one, its just not going to happen. Im just so tired and stressed out now, I dont even know if we will be able to get the girls the synagis shot next month, I really hope so since we are about to lose our insurance soon, so it'd be nice to get in another month for free. Its all happening so fast now, dh is freaking about getting out....I think it finally hit him that we are losing our home, our income, our medical insurance, our life insurance...and he still doesnt have a job lined up as of right now. Things arent looking good.

Anyways just wanted to let everyone know we are here safe and sound. Thanks for the prayers

Hey Cassie!

It is so good to hear from you! I am glad you guys all made it in one piece. It must be so hard on all of you to move that far away, but hang in there! I will be saying prayers for you guys that all gets situated quickly.

I have an update! My OB has put me on lock down because I have dilated to 2 cm already. I am only allowed to get up to go to the restroom, shower, or refrigerator. Bed rest is horrible!! I feel so achy all the time.

I hope you and your family has a wonderful Christmas! Try and enjoy as much of it as you can.

Glad you made it okay Cassie! Remember one day at a time. Moves are stressful on all concerned and that is with everything lined up. In your situation, it's even harder because there are so many unknowns.

Write down your concerns and put them in shoe box labeled prayer box. Then let God work his miracles.

I'm so happy you made it but I am sorry for the pitfalls on the way.

Chin Up girl, it can only get better there than where you just came from. Remember how miserable you were staying there and being around his family. Also know it will take time to get used to a new place and to get yourselves situated. Hang in there and only do what you really need to get done and don't try to do everything at once or you will go bonkers

It's good to hear that you're there safe and sound. I'm sorry the trip didn't go so well. And I'm sorry that everything seems so "up in the air" right now, in so many ways. It must be hard, especially around Christmas time. Focus on those beautiful kids and take care of yourself too!

I'm glad you made it! It does hurt to leave Olivia's grave too, and we're not nearly a far away as you are. Maybe when you get settled you can find some way to put somethign down for her. A park in our new town has paver bricks that you can buy and get engraved. We're going to do that with Olivia's name in the spring.

 

Cassie, Sorry to hear about all the crappiness along with way and the kids being sick. I hope DH gets his act together and realizes what he is going to lose and also gets the job he needs to support you guys.

I am so sorry that you had to leave Kaitlyn behind. It makes me so sad to think you will not get back there. Maybe someday you can move her to you. It is possible and I know people who have done it.

My prayers and thoughts are with your family. I hope you have a good holiday despite all these things. Remember you have your kids and they love you!
